Yeah it can be a problem, although I think it varies how much it's a problem depending on the game/genre.

I do sometimes like to have a quick spin of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix as it has such a feel-good vibe! I had a go and then checked out a few songs in vid mode. I'm really digging Look This Way, Baby .

Ye this is true. Sometimes they're intentionally unintuitive/quirky to accentuate certain feelings. Games are cool like that

I am impressed by "photo realistic" graphics but I do usually prefer a more stylised approach. I can see "realistic" just by walking out my front door whereas creating a wonderful custom artistic design takes time and skill.

Series such as GTA and CoD have, I feel, got a real challenge in that they could be presented in an increasingly realistic style but the core gameplay aspects of action and violence make this difficult; some folk just won't want violence depicted in a realistic way. I appreciate that some folk will, though!
