What's everyone's predictions for the (expected but this is Nintendo so who knows) June Direct?

I don't think we'll get anything on BOTW2 but in addition to Pokemon, Splatoon 3 and XC3 (which are certs), I'm hoping we'll get a date for Bayo 3 and Mario x Rabbids 2 as well as something Prime related (don't care if it's the rumoured Prime remake or 4 just gimme something) and a big holiday game from EPD. Donkey Kong, Mario....whatever, just hit us with something big.

Really hope we'll see Advance Wars soon too

The next Direct has the potential to be a banger really, stuff we already know about

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 trailer
Breath of the Wild 2 trailer (I think we will see BotW2 in trailer form, with a promised gameplay blowout later this year)
Splatoon 3 deep dive into the single player mode trailer
Bayonetta 3 trailer with date
Mario x Rabbids 2 trailer with date

I don't think we would see Pokemon in this Direct, that will have its own presentation. As for what's unknown that we could see

Metroid Prime 4 gameplay trailer, 2023 - Metroid Prime Redux releasing this year
New EPD Donkey Kong game for this Christmas
DLC for Mario Strikers/Mario Party Superstars added to expansion pass
some big 3rd party ports (Batman Arkham Collection, Mass Effect Trilogy)

I'm wondering if they will have the Treehouses this year alongside the June Direct, they are always fun to watch for more deep dives into games.

Does anyone have any experience with joycons not connecting in handheld mode?

My left OLED joycon pairs fine wirelessly, but it doesn't register when it's docked, so the controller icon in the bottom left is constantly switching between the left joycon prompting me to pair the right, and the right joycon docked with a greyed out left.

It doesn't connect to my missus' Switch either, and I've tested other ones in mine so it's definitely not the rail.

EDIT- nevermind it's working again, I just put it back in the dock for a bit lol

Next direct should hopefully bring bayonetta 3 release date and Rabbids release date.

Rumours from the usual switch rumour YouTubers saying Metroid Prime (re release) and more Zelda re releases.

I'd love it to end with a Super Mario Odyssey 2 big reveal for this year.

But I think we'll get GBA on switch online and maybr a tiny teaser for a new game. Like a new Star fox or F Zero game. I'd take a remaster if Star fox 64 over all of it.

In other news, anyone else played Arise A Simple Story - I think it came out just before the Indie Direct to very little fanfare but IMO was way more interesting than anything that came out of that Direct. Its a story about an old man's memories who has come to the end of his life, where as well as controlling the protagonist you manipulate environments by controlling the flow of time. Its poignant with charming graphics and an emotional impactful musical score and unlike a lot of deep indie games (I'm thinking Gris, which to be fair I did also enjoy) the platforming and puzzles are really solid. A great game to get lost in for a few hours its only like 8quid and for me it was a total 10/10 game.

I'm hoping that we see No Man's Sky and Portal Collection running on Switch; and news of release dates! I think those two are definitely the Switch games that I'm most looking forward to.
