You have my sympathies. :P Slightly joking, but I thought it was a solid 5/10. Nice cosy 5/10, but 5/10 nonetheless.

i quite liked the first voice of cards game all in all, maybe a 7.5/10 game for me, second game is already off to a good start as i noticed the item limit you can hold is 50 instead of 30. pleased about that.

I think it's pretty safe to assume we're getting a June Direct, even without E3. Don't indie showcases usually come a few weeks before? One later this month sounds plausible.

They normally have a "Indie World" type thing in early Spring (think we had one in April last year) so we are kind of overdue one

Recently realised that the Switch is a gold mine for JRPG's that never release on Xbox. I've bought a few in the recent sale.

Ni No Kuni (currently playing through - it's glorious)
Ni No Kuni 2
Y's VIII
Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet (this is on Xbox but not for €8)

Also picked up Bayonetta 1 & 2 for €20.

I'm gaming a lot more on my switch. The switch itself and the Pro controller both give me hand cramp though, not quite sure why, It could be just being used to Xbox for 90% of my gaming over the many years...

Nintendo Q4 results are out and switch has reached 107.65M units.
They expect another 21M for this fiscal year

Bloomberg reporting that Furokawa refused to comment when asked about new hardware, not the outright denial he usually says……

Dread is now the best selling Metroid game ever at 2.9m.

Will get to 3m but seems to have slowed down alot. Still 3m, impressive. I expect Prime 4 to beat it though.

It’s slowing down but the Switch is still crushing it sales wise on hardware and software.

Whatever platform(s) Mario Kart 9 releases on, I don’t see it outselling Mario Kart 8 Deluxe unless it’s bundled with every console

I reckon we'll see a "Pro" in September 2023 that has boosted specs and backwards compatibility and exclusive games.

So from a business perspective, looks like the decision to merge handheld and console has been a huge success:

The difference between the Switch era and the era when the DS and Wii were both killing it is still huge.

I do agree that prime 4 will probably do better but I think people will be salty about the game
