But do you have overcooked 2?

If you missed it on Wii U there New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe.

That's all I can think of right now, sorry.

Focusing on exclusives because I have the likes of Overcooked, Rocket League and Towerfall already.

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is fun (albeit not exclusive).

Jackbox Party Pack 3 is probably the best local multiplayer game ever. Nothing else springs to mind that you haven’t mentioned, but that’s a pretty good haul!

4 player exclusive makes this a lot more difficult when you've already listed the first party big hitters!

If you want cheap, five minutes of fun check out Pirates: All Aboard! and Astro Bears Party from Qubic games. They're nothing amazing but they are often dirt cheap in sales and will pass an odd few minutes.

If you have a problem with this, PM me or make a thread in Feedback. I'll be deleting any in-thread replies to this. (Go back to talking about Nintendo or whatever.)

out of general curiosity was some of this abuse directed at me? (sorry to bring it up again)

Anyone played Akane? It's only £5 on the eshop and looks like pretty fun, if a bit shallow:

I'm tempted.

Another from Qubic, funnily enough. I'm probably going to pick it up and give it a go as I've enjoyed a few of their games

I've picked up a few cheaper games in the current eShop sale:

Out Run (£4) - I just had to grab this arcade classic! Nostalgia plays a big part but the vibrant atmosphere generated by the sprite scaling and music help keep the game forever driving towards pole position.

Horizon Chase Turbo (£10) - I've only played a few goes but this is lovely; it feels like a modern take on old-school arcade racers. Great presentation and tight controls.

SteamWorld Dig (£3) - An older but well-regarded title that I'm looking forward to playing.

Yono and the Celestial Elephants (£5) - I'd been pondering about getting this for a while and the sale price tempted me to try it. It's an attractive, cutesy, slower-paced puzzler featuring a wee elephant!

My Time At Portia got an update, and as part of the general quality of life updates, you can see how much experience you gain for all actions.

Nice to see that I get 50 EXP every time I pick up some animal doo doo.

Ok. I took the plunge on the vouchers today and they are supplied as two separate things. I've redeemed one of them today for MUA3 and I'm going to hold fire on using the other until there is something I desperately want (hoping Links Awakening gets added later in the year), I've got until next May to use it.

EDIT: Doesn't look like you get gold points for the purchase but maybe they come later on pre-orders?

EDIT AGAIN: Ok, 420 gold points were added to my account today which I guess is for the purchase of the voucher (does that sound right? Think you get 5% back).

Yeah, the eShop generally gives you 5% back (as Gold Points) for digital purchases and 1% (of the current eShop price) for physical purchases (i.e. when registering a game cart). If you use Gold Points as part-payment (i.e. instead of paying the whole cost via your card) then you only get 5% on the proportion of the cost paid via card.

I've been trying to understand the voucher system, and I was hoping to be able to buy a pair of vouchers, and have myself and my partner each get Super Mario Maker. But it doesn't seem possible. Anybody know for sure?

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

They can only be used on the same account.

I’ve managed to buy two sets of vouchers, pre-ordered Mario Maker 2 and MUA3. Once Fire Emblem and Astral Chajn are available I’ll grab those too.

Never had a U so any U ports also welcome, thanks!

I thought that might be the case but I also feel like I missing something, good to know that's not really the case, thanks.

Don't think I have any of the other games suggested so even if they aren't exclusive, I'll check them out. Thanks team!

They can only be used on the same account.

They're tied to the Nintendo online account aren't they? I wonder what would happen if you had a family subscription?

We have a family membership so I tried it on my son’s Switch and I can’t see the voucher on there.

Nintendo Switch Online and a Nintendo Switch account are two completely different things, despite both being related to the online. Using the vouchers like that wouldn't work.
