Steamworld Quest is (gulp...) the first Steamworld game I’ve played, really enjoyed, and finished. It’s interesting, though: it’s a great game, but not because it does anything specific greatly. It just does everything it does so flawlessly (cut-scene skip aside) and with such a high level of polish.

Recommended, but weirdly, you’re not missing out on much that’s going to blow your mind if you give it a miss. Just a great game.

I own Dig and Dig 2, I played and really enjoyed the first one but I still haven't completed it. It had a nice groove to the gameplay though - digging to earn cash to upgrade to dig further and earn more cash and discover new stuff, it was fun!

I had a similar desire for the Darksiders games. Image & Form are a top-tier developer for me, hope they continue to push onto bigger things. Wouldn't mind them becoming a second party developer for Nintendo, I think they've stated their sales on Nintendo hardware are considerably larger than on other platforms.

Just waiting on the physical release news for Quest. Would double dip on Heist if the collection of it and Dig 1 got a Switch physical release.

Bought Resident Evil 0 :shifty:

There was a code for eBay to get 15% off £20 or more so nabbed a £25 eShop card and used my Paypal balance to pay the other £4-odd :fp:

Don't mind getting 0 a few quid cheaper as it's the only one I don't actually seem to own on any platform.

And seems I could use that code a 2nd time and Resident Evil Remake is now downloading :dread:

Just 4 to get next payday to add to the Res Evil Switch collection.

I’m convinced Shy Guy and Fisher are the same person!

That would be desperately sad if it was true. Imagine having the conversations in your head out loud on an internet forum whilst everyone else tried hard ignore you?

They are different people, this has come up before.

In games news I've been playing more go vacation, because obviously it is one of the switch's best games

Woo! Go Vacation!

If only I could get it back... I probably should put some focus onto Monster Hunter so I can swap them around.

I grabbed Futuregrind as it’s on sale for £1.52 and it’s bloody brilliant. It’s like Uniracer meets Trials.

I have never put one like that directly into my switch but when I've used one on my 3ds the cash has shown on my switch so I'd imagine so

They work fine, bought 2 the other day off eBay so I could be a mug and pay over the odds for some old Resident Evil games on Switch :toot:

What's the best screen protecter? For using the dock or just in general?

I've got one of those Orzly tempered glass ones, seems to work pretty well.
