Did anyone get Overwatch on Switch? Using an Ebay code you can get it for under £24 but I wondered what it's like and if anyone plays it.

You can get the digital version on CDKeys for £17.99 (it's been as low as £12.99 at one point).

Going to get two or three new games to keep me going while in New York, currently the list of potential titles are as follows. Looking at getting some recommendations, plus any other titles you think deserve a look-in?

At the moment I own the following;
Zelda BOTW
Mario Odyssey
Mario/Rabbids
Diablo 3

So the contenders;

Luigi Mansion 3 – Loved the originals and played it to death on my 3DS, think this one is an auto-buy for me.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 – Loved the original versions way back when playing co-op with my little brother, not sure if it’s got the longevity to play solo though.

Rayman Legends – Have played the demo numerous times and loved it, just never actually committed to buying the game. It’s really cheap too so seems like a sensible addition to keep me going.

Dragon Quest 11 – Never played a Dragon Quest but heard a lot of good things from it. Am I right in thinking there’s a demo to try for it?

Fire Emblem Three Houses – Loved my 3DS version, was my fix for Advance Wars even though it was a lot different.

I'd avoid MUA3 for solo, had loads of fun with it in co-op but in singleplayer it's much harder to overlook the cheap production values and the grind.

DQXI has a substantial demo (like 5 hours into the game or something?) and the save can carry over if you then decide to buy the full game.

If you're looking for an Advance Wars fix, you could consider Wargroove too

I haven't really looked at it, looked very reminiscent of Minecraft which I just hate. Might give the demo a go and see what it's like though, cheers.

Thanks for the advice, that was my worry with MUA3 that the Solo play just doesn't live up to the Co-Op gameplay that I fell in love with.

Ah you've also answered a massive question regarding DQXI and the save porting over. Didn't want to do a massive bit of the game to then have to replay it again if I do buy it.

How did I miss Wargroove?!? Looks like a natural successor to Advance Wars?

Can comfortably agree with Luigi’s Mansion 3.

You look like a fan of JRPGs, and I’d say that Xenoblade 2 should be up there with FETH in that consideration - personally I enjoyed it much more than Dragon Quest and Octopath Traveller, which you may also want on your list. I seem to be in the minority on Dragon Quest (the battle system is banal and the impressive environments feel like window-dressing IMO), but not Xenoblade.

thats my review of the first, the 2nd is the same but better, if you hate minecraft for its directionless nature this game adds a story and a point to playing it.

It seems to be pretty quiet on the new releases front at the moment but there are a few decent-looking games scheduled for the next couple of months.

Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl - February 14
Metro Redux - February 28
Rune Factory 4 Special - February 28
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX - March 6
Animal Crossing New Horizons - March 20
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III - March 24

I'm aiming to definitely pick up AC and maybe as a download version. Snack World looks interesting, too, but I'll probs hold off on that.

Are you guys planning to go for any of these?

Nice to see you back posting Jawa :)

As for what games I’m definitely getting from that list, just Animal Crossing! Realistically that could be all I play for the next 2 or 3 months anyway!

I am absolutely getting none of those. However, I still have three JRPGs to plough through (even if I drop DQXI), along with three or four other games, so I’m hardly short of gaming!

Would still like a Direct soon though.

In all honesty, if no more Switch games came out, ever, I'd still have enough to keep me going for the next three years.

That said, if they don't hurry up and release Metroid I'm going to strawberry floating riot.

I don't think there's anything confirmed as out this year that I want.

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Surprised we didn’t get a direct in January to be honest (unless it gets announced today I don’t see it happening), really feels like we’re ready/need one in the near future.

All year I want Panzer Dragoon and three currently undated titles: NMH3, Bravely Default 2, and Hollow Knight Silksong. (Also I still need to pick up Tokyo Mirage Sessions.) That’s not really enough.

Yep, Direct sooooooooooon. (We actually got two in January but they weren’t the ones we needed.)

There's a few things on the horizon that I'm definitely looking to pick up

Feb 14th Railway Empire
Feb 25th Two Point Hospital

Also considering Tokyo Mirage but maybe wait for a sale. Will probably also get Animal Crossing, really ought to be digital but I might be tempted by a Game trade in offer if one is around.
