It does look cute. I think that I'm just looking at the upcoming games publishing schedule and realising that there's way too much; gonna have to pick and choose a bit harshly these next few months.

I'm thinking of cancelling my pre-order and putting the dough towards something else in the Q4 game release onslaught. Maybe.

It's not that short. It's a full sized game with a full complement of dungeons and overworld to explore. Some of the dungeons are quite tricky as well. Well worth the full price.

The only reason I'm hesitant is that I played the original through a year or two ago and from what I've seen it's an almost exact recreation of the layout and gameplay. So my decision is do I justify paying the price for a game I've already completed several times just for the graphical tarting up......

Probably.

Haha, I'd wondered if I may face the wrath of Awakening fans, Orange  .

Yeah, it does look neat, CD. I believe I saw a new feature that is a kind of randomiser, where the map is rearranged (or you can create your own re-arrangement). I don't *think* that I imagined this aspect!

Ta, Drum. A more reasonable price!

Quick question. If I wanted to replace the SD card in my Switch for a larger one, will that cause any problems in terms of playing games that save updates to the card? Or will these just automatically re download?

I don't use an SD card for my Switch but I'd guess it's similar to how it was on 3DS. I just copied everything from the old SD card to the new one. It was seamless. So game updates should be transferred along with the games.

If not it shouldn't be an issue. If your game doesn't auto-update you'll get a prompt to download the update when you try to boot up the game. You could also just manually update the game.

Edit:

Looking at Nintendo's website it seems the process is pretty much the same as 3DS and they also add: 'Any software that cannot be read on the system using the new microSD card can simply be redownloaded from the Nintendo eShop'. So you should be good.

The Witcher 3 on Switch is looking/performing rather well considering the hardware, can’t wait to play it :)

October is looking good for me so far, The Witcher 3 on the 15th, WRC 8 on the 24th and Luigi’s Mansion 3 on the 31st. Then Ori on the 27th of September a week after Link’s Awakening. Really need to get Hollow Knight and Bloodstained done and dusted ASAP

Ahead of the launch on 15 October, Digital Foundry has taken a look at The Witcher 3 on Switch and chatted with CD Projekt Red about the coding process.

...oh, and in case anyone missed it, just to confirm that the game is coming on a 32Gb cart. It's great to see that CDPR has opted for the bigger cart rather than necessitating a large additional download.

I'm digging the look of Eastward. Ori is a game I've been meaning to play for a while so it's nice of Xbox to let us have a slice of the pie.

As I said on Twitter, the fact that a current gen game is running on a handheld is impressive. That it's doing it so well is simply incredible.

Always wanted to play it but knew I'd never get the time to do so on PS4. Think I might look at this once I've finished BotW.

I love how the upcoming Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 has a retro 2D mode called Tokyo 1964 (the last time the olympics were held there). It's like Hyper Sports  .
