Anyone know of a decent (and decently priced) screen protector? Would rather avoid Amazon too where possible.

See also: people who rate Wind Waker (especially the original non-Fast Sail version) above ALBW.

I don’t want to get into the eliminator thing because it’s daft, but this needed addressing.

I don't know, it's not like they are both the same type of game and one just does it better than the other. Wind Waker and ALBW have separate appeals and differing strengths so the comparison isn't so direct.

ALBW is one of the best Zelda games. WW has an amazing art style, but it was rushed (amongst other things). There's a gulf between them.

I went with these from Orzly:

Quality is excellent, went on really easily and is basically unnoticeable now and you get a spare if you need it as well!

To expand on my post: Wind Waker is about discovering the new; ALBW is about recontextualising things you already know. I think ALBW is a tighter experience, but it never comes close to replicating the feeling of adventure as you sail towards a previously undiscovered island.

ALBW is peculiar though in that I imagine it's a very different experience depending on whether you have played ALTTP, and your familiarity with Zelda in general. If you come to it as an introduction to Zelda, then all that recontextualising and evolution of the formula will be lost on you, but you'll experience it with more focus on exploration and adventure.

Started splatoon 2 tonight. It's just so good. Not a massive fan of some of the single player levels and I'd love maps with bots but the multiplayer is amazing.

Just unlocked the roller in multiplayer Which was my go to weapon when I used to play splatoon 2.

Grandia HD collection is looking good. The work they did to the first game looks wonderful.

Even though I'm still playing fire emblem I couldn't resist buying the Grandia HD collection. Heard good things about it so I'm looking forward to it when I have a chance. Download estimate says it'll take about 3 hours from now(Curse you slow internet )

CD Keys have got £30 eshop vouchers for £25.50ish. There are rarely those kinds of reductions available so might be worth stocking up

The first game is excellent. The second one is not quite as good, but it's still really enjoyable. Great combat.

I'm not sure if this is allowed, but... I'm not particularly excited about the upcoming Zelda Link's Awakening remake. I haven't played the original (albeit I have the cart :fp: ) but I believe it's a short-ish adventure and it just doesn't - to me - feel like a fifty-quid title. I'm thinking of cancelling my pre-order and putting the dough towards something else in the Q4 game release onslaught. Maybe.

I believe you can get it sub 40 in some places Jawa. Or buy eshop vouchers and get it and another game for 84.

I really think you'll like this one Jawa, it's a bit more straightforward than other Zelda games, and the art style seems right up your street.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:
