Agree with this. The main problem I have with IV is that there isn't much to do after all the activities are done. But it's so good while it lasts.

Question for those who know tech, it’s regarding the rumoured Switch Pro

The expectations for this dev if e would be to have the power of running docked mode in handheld. Can they make it so all games automatically run in ‘docked mode’ when you play in Handheld? Or would be a case of games would need to be patched in order to take advantage?

I'd only think a small bit extra power would be dedicated to making handheldmode run smoother. It's not so much the power technicals as it is the heat the device produces. Keeping pouring power into it and eventually you'll hit a point where it would quickly heat up from extensive use. They've hit the balance just right, and unless the pro also came with better cooling tech, I don't think they'd be willing to boost the power if it might cause problems. As for whether games can automatically take advantage of the extra power? I'd say maybe, depending on how they were made.

I purchase Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze online today for £23 but apparently its the German version, hoping this is like the 2 German Gamecube games I had which had all euro languages on disk but just German writing on the box.

Is that easy to do? I've been wanting it for a while but don't really want to spend 50 quid on it.

I feel like games are expensive, been looking at cadence of hyrule and the goose game but thought both would be about a tenner by now. Cadence is 23 quid... maybe I've just been conditioned by always buying pre owned prior to the switch.

They had a sale on some of them over Xmas but they never dropped under £10 . They are expensive these days though, especially when some publishers put Switch tax game on releases.

If the switch pro becomes a thing and it's just making the switch run as good in handheld as docked I'll be unbelievablely disappointed. Make the docked version better you've already captured to the the handheld market with the lite and before I here the same bullshit of Devs targeting the pro, bollocks to that when you have a PS4 Pro and Xbox One X and not having that issue, if it is an issue with first party games that's on Nintendo as it is not a problem anywhere else.

I would expect it to probably go more in lines with PS4/Xbox X and ramp up the power and graphics in docked mode. I agree with you it’s not needed on a portable scale. And I’m not really sure it’s even needed or that there’s been a high demand for a pro version

I mean they could offer improvements such as improved battery life and more built in storage. It would be nice having the handheld mode run at least on par with docked mode as some games do tend to suffer (Mutant Year Zero being a notable example)

Plus, if it was something they launched at the same time as BOTW 2 it could take some of the limelight away from the new big boy consoles.
