I’m guessing its been pushed back to 2020, the end of this year (well from now really) is stacked with releases, I think Town would just get lost in a sea of great other games.

I've only played 1/2 Genie but I thought it was good. I finished the main story but noticed it has quite a lot more content -- more than I'll ever manage to play through!
Bought it, was enjoying it and then I came to an upwards scrolling level where if you didn't move fast enough then you die. strawberry floating cheap gooseberry fool on there that also dropped dead ends into the mix. And to further grind my gears it had a (short) unskippable cut scene at the beginning. I actively despise that sort of thing so I'm giving it a rest for a bit. Also, the checkpointing on the game is gooseberry fool as well.
Yes, fishers posting style is odd, but you do not know why, none of us do. If he/she is being a plonker, then fair enough, but what if he/is autistic or has other reasons for their posting style. You're just being banana splits.
I picked up Tales of Vesperia a little while back (it was 27.99 at Argos) and have been slowly playing through it. I'd only played Symphonia on the Gamecube way back when so a lot of that series has passed me by. I've generally been enjoying it, even if it is a little too anime for my tastes at times.
However!
It has some design decisions that are absolute nonsense and belong in the past. Namely, if you die you have no retry option, instead it's loading your last save. I understand that the original came out in 2008, but that's a feature that should be present in this re-release, or at least make it blatantly clear to the player that this is how death operates in the game. It came in conjunction with a ridiculous difficulty spike, where this boss completely steamrolled me. Doubled up! The area where you encounter this boss, the story contrives for you to be stuck in this area with no option to back out to a safe town, so should you be low of restorative items, tough tits, deal with it. It's generally something I never want to do but I knocked the difficulty down to Easy so I could be rid of this nonsense. It has properly dampened my enthusiasm for the game, thankfully I got it for a decent price and it's a Switch retail game so will likely hold value, so should I wish to punt it after I'm done, I won't lose out on too much cash.
