It's high time someone invented a means of easily inputting several characters of text into a web browser so issues like this could be consigned to history.

Msl a kb/m, ay2e c/e ttyw.

And now for the non-abbreviated version.
Maybe something like a keyboard and mouse, allowing you to easily craft and edit the words you type.

Precisely. I've never had to type the word 'Switch' and wished there was a shorter alternative.

NES > SNES > N64 > GCN > WII > WIIU > NSW

I conclude that the SNES and Wii U need 3 letter abbreviations for better consistency. I propose NSN (Nintendo Super Nintendo) and WUN (Wii U Nintendo, also rhymes with one).

It works with handhelds too: GBO > GBP > GBC > GBA > NDS > DSL > DSI > CSI: Miami > 3DS > N3D

This is a bold console preference list but each to their own.

...I'd thought it was a "rating", too. Then I realised that it can't be because the WUN would obviously be at the other end  .

I think I've played the CSI: Miami. Every time you go to make some bad wordplay, you get the compulsion to take your glasses off before saying the wordplay. Then everyone around you groans at the joke.

Tried that Wonderboy Dragons Trap for a few hours. Absolutely hated it. Looks amazing, and it's a great remake visually. The game hasn't aged well.

Back to the Snes App. I'm going through Mario World now.

Also great to pin back to where it's meant to be on the OP. No longer will new people looking on the thread see that error message.

Anyone can join up, Doom... you just gotta carry the Switch spirit within you. And then you can sport the badge :toot: .

Club U is still alive, too. Clicky on my siggy.

Fed up with the serious playing style of FIFA and PES? Want some arcade-style soccer action? Golazo! launches on the eShop tomorrow!

Football is all about fun and teamwork. It doesn’t matter if you’re on the field or play it on console sitting with your friends on the couch. With its vintage, not-too-serious, artistic and creative modern approach to classic gameplay, Golazo! is certainly a perfect game for people who are weary of football managers or complicated hard-core simulators. You just grab your pad, sit on the couch and play!

In Golazo! you will find a ton of fun and:

+ Three arcade dynamic game modes: quick match, World Cup, International ranking
+ Ideal for Couch & Party gamers
+ Furious matches up to 4 players (offline multiplayer)
+ Who needs rules? No fouls and offsides!
+ Legendary players used as reference
+ 32 national teams in International Cup mode with ranking
+ A locker room where you can exchange your points to new kits or balls.
+ Humor – football managers and simulators are boring. Let’s bring back fun to football!
