I see your point Jenuall, perhaps it would be better if the camps gave you korok seeds or something akin to progress towards permanent upgrades rather than just consumables? My problem with camps is that (especially earlier on) I often spent more in consumables than I got back in rewards.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Can't believe you think Rage 2 is better than BOTW :x

I think this is a good shout and something along these lines may have been an improvement. I think the real solution probably involves a wider refinement of systems across the game - how to make what already exists within the world more valuable and therefore more rewarding to acquire/trade/craft/give as quest rewards etc.

Rage 2 has this, therefore it is the better game QED. :P

Not a popular opinion but I do hope Retro have been working on a 3D Donkey Kong game with David Wise on soundtrack duty. I love both of the 2D games they made and would love to see what a 3D game by them would be like.

Obviously they’re working on Metroid at the moment but Tropical Freeze was years ago.

Sega Ages Virtua Racing and Sega Ages Wonder Boy: Monster Land will arrive in in the US / UK / Europe eShops on 27 June. I'm keen to grab Virtua but it's launching the day before Mario Maker, so I may leave it for a while.

If they actually get it running to a reasonable level on the Switch I will get it, I’d be truly amazed if it does appear on the Switch though.

I'd buy Wonder Boy but I'm protesting at the fact it was dropped from the EU Genesis collection so strawberry float 'em.

Yeah, it's launching tomorrow, Winckle. I'd anticipate it being available as part of the eShop update at 1400 (UK).

Thanks Jawa! I've been looking forward to this one for a while.

The Nintendolife review (9/10) has got me very interested but 20 snoops seems a lot for a card battler.

I’m not sure this is an unpopular opinion? I think lots of us would love a 3D Donkey Kong from Retro. A 2D game would probably get some whining (although I’d love a new one personally) but a 3D one would be get a huge reaction I think.

David Wise supposedly spent some time at Retro a few years ago, it was before the Switch release of Tropical Freeze so it could have been related to that but I don’t remember the port having any new music.

I’d just like to see what Retro has been working on, surely they must have something before they got given Metroid Prime 4.

Retro’s pre Metroid project will be their big E3 reveal, with a Christmas release planned.

Believe.

I hope it will, but it’d be equally amazing/baffling if Retro have done nothing since Tropical Freeze back in 2013 and then given what could be one of the Switch’s biggest titles in Metroid Prime 4 without anything to show over the last 6 years.
