Yep. Only did it once myself (Sonic Mania from the Russian store on release) but works fine.

I think Jenny does it all the time

And yep you can switch your account region back and forth at any time and all games you've bought regardless of region will be available always.

Great way to pick up savings either where another region is having a sale or where their prices are just simply cheaper!

Yep!

I've got games from Russia, Norway, Canada, Japan, South Africa and probably others I've forgotten. They are all available on my Switch regardless of which region my account is currently set to.

And once bought they will always be accessible from your download list on the eShop with your UK account. When I rebought my Switch I didn’t need to switch to the Russian eShop to download Sonic.

Bought Black The Fall as it looks very similar to Inside which I’ve just finished on iPad so looking forward to starting that.

Couple of questions;

What headphones do people use? I'm off to New York end of Feb for work on my own and going to take my Switch on the flight to keep me entertained. Never had headphones before so not a clue what ones are recommended to use on a Switch.

Also is there a recommended external charging power brick to use? Want to be able to keep the Switch going for the full 8 hour flight rather than dying halfway through.

I just use the wired in ear headphones that came with my phone, and I used the dock power supply on the last flight I took the switch on,.whixh worked a treat.

What's your budget?

I use Bose Soundlink Around Ear Wireless.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01 ... UTF8&psc=1

They come with a cable so you can plug into the Switch as well. I use them every day on the commute and often for long spells at work; they're very comfortable and the sound is excellent. I realise £150 is strong money and perhaps the size would be prohibitive if you're travelling around a lot.

They look nice but yeah a little out of my price bracket/bit too bulky for travelling. I'm looking at about £50 max. I didn't realise the Switch had a headphone socket :fp: could've sworn it was bluetooth only.

Yeah, the opposite, sadly: you need a third-party adapter to use bluetooth headphones. Probably to preserve battery life.

You won't even need to go to £50, tbh - you can get a nice pair of Sennheiser CX 100 for £25. They'll be more than good enough.

Picked up AC IV Black Flag and even though I nearly 100% on Wii U back in the day, its still an incredible game.
Also it runs really on both docked and handheld plays, a big improvement over AC 3.

The main issue I have with Black flag is the run button being the same as the climb walls. Now, it's probably my inability to navigate but its strawberry floating annoying.

That’s spot on guys thanks :D
I realise I’m asking a lot of questions :shifty:
Does this do anything to your gold coin amount? I’ve read the coins are region locked but I couldn’t get anyone to tell me if you left one region to the next and came back if you lost them or not..

I think you lose your gold coins, but, if you region swap you will save more than the gold coins will save you and from the sounds of it the gap is pretty significant.

Yep the savings often far outweigh the value of the gold coins.

As I recall whilst the gold coins are locked to the region you earn them in they don't get lost when you swap region - next time you come to buy from that region again you will be still have the coins from last time.

Been playing some more Yoshi recently and while it's a breeze to complete on your first play through some of the smiley flowers are genuinely tough. As is the first hidden level :dread:
