These days it’s about fifty tiers tall! Also you saved your opinions from being bottom-tier with that Raichu edit.

Forgot about that game. Really enjoyed as well.

It's weird how pikachu is a top-tier pokemon but both pichu and raichu are bottom tier

Raichu > Pikachu.

Pichu in 2nd?

Guess I know who to ignore when asking for opinions on something.

Pichu’s adorable and I’ll hear nothing to the contrary. Look at its stupid oversized head! (Also the others are all meh.)

Luchachu is okay I guess, but I can’t help feeling it robbed Hawlucha (a far superior design) of a Pokken slot.

Rude. The irony is, your avvy’s one of my favourite monsters. While we’re on ‘montroversial opinions, the original starters are way overrated. They’re not bad, but they’re not great and have been improved on plenty since.

Anyway I’m actually playing Digimon Cyber Sleuth at the moment and enjoying it more than I did Sword. :P

Cyber Sleuth is a great game so that's not really any slight on Sword

It'd be neat to see a budget range, Robbo, although I suspect that this may not happen due to the cost of cartridges. As with the N64, the cost of the physical media can be a challenge to publishers.

Although the Switch has ushered in a period where a high number of indie games are gaining physical releases, they're generally using low data amounts and so use cheaper carts (1 / 2 / 4 Gb carts) but still sell at circa £30.

Nintendo may - as they did with the N64 - put out a few of their own big titles at a reduced price; say, Breath of the Wild, Mario Odyssey and Splatoon 2 at around £29.99. Margins would likely be small and third party publishers unlikely to follow suit, though.

It’s not like it’s unprecedented for a Nintendo to do something similar though, they did on the 3DS and that used carts! It wouldn’t surprise me if we don’t see anything like this for the Switch (definitely not until things start to slow down a bit) considering how well nearly everything sells, why only get £30 for a sale of Breath of the Wild when they still get nearing £50 with each sale?

Oh, definitely, Robbo - I don't see Nintendo reducing their prices anytime soon! If they eventually do for some older titles, they're in a decent position to do so as their games tend to require relatively low storage requirements in comparison to most AAA publishers; they'll only need a max 8Gb cart for most titles.

Of course, once games are digital-only then a budget range is way easier to implement; all storage costs are passed on to the consumer!

The answer is indie game selects double packs - 2 games on one cartridge

One on the cart and the other as a download code? ;-) .
