wait what

Give it a try. Get ona. Horse and keep going at full pelt so the music kicks in. Eventually the theme will morph into a rendition of the original Zelda theme. It’s lovely!

Graveyard Keeper is out this week on Switch and I'm sorely tempted to double dip even though I can play it for free on Gamepass. Hoping the performance is a bit better than on XBox though and some of the UI elements could be very small in handheld mode unless they've made some changes. Might wait for a review.

EDIT: Terraria is also being released this week on Switch, it'll be interesting to see what the switch tax is on that one.

Interestingly, the devs for Astral Chain have said it's been written as a trilogy and they will make sequels if it's successful.

Think Nintendo and Platinum are quietly confident it will do well.

It’s looking belting, so might be a good call, but the Bayos were pretty niche...

So is Xenoblade to be fair, and that's not going anywhere anytime soon.

If they can hit the 1m+ mark I think Nintendo will be happy, and we'll see a sequel down the line.

Rex Kramer wrote:I decided to jump back into Ys VIII this last week to tide me over until MUA3 comes out. Slightly concerned that the combat is very similar and so I'll be doing 3rd person dungeon crawling for a long time. It's fun though with a fairly interesting set up. Not the prettiest game around, most of the character models look like PS2 standard.

Unlocked the first hunt today and really, really enjoyed it. The changes in gameplay in Ys VIII are really quite interesting. The raids were ok but the hunts really mix up it. Definitely recommend this for someone looking for a XC2 X Zelda.

thats sounds like the set up to something that has a cliff hanger ending thats not successful enough to ever get a follow up

I think Xenoblade Chronicles 2 managed to get near 2m so not too shabby. I think everyone would be very happy if Astral Chain did similar numbers.

There's a chance it could.

They need to get W101 on Switch though. The brilliance of that game needs more exposure.

I do like the look of Astral Chain, problem being there’s that much else coming out later in the year that I don’t think I’d have the time to put into it! If there’s a quieter spell next year I’ll probably pick it up then.
