For shame, I downloaded God Eater 3 demo. No idea what the series is about even though I have 1 and 2 installed on my Vita :fp:

Seen that the Red Faction Guerilla remaster is getting great reviews on the Switch, anyone else as tempted as I am to pick it up?

Yeah, I'm gonna get it. Love the game and I'm upset they never made a sequel. Perfect excuse to play it again!

I'd kind of like it but just busy buying so much retro stuff, Fire Emblem however is an event for me, I'm always super super eager for a new one.

Went back to Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, that is hands down one of the best platform games I’ve ever played. Nintendo’s best since Yoshi’s Island on SNES(2D one).

Is it worth picking up then? I was expecting some throw away third person shooter.

I preferred the sequel, Guerilla was fun for a short time, but it was sparse and got boring quick. Armageddon was a good game and it was nice to not have an open world sequel and a linear game, which I prefer in general anyway.

the campaign itself gets a bit boring but the actual gameplay is so much fun thanks to how good the building destruction stuff is.

I've added it to my watch list in the vain hope it'll get a price drop in a sale.

As Maf says the destruction is really good fun. You can level every single building across the map

Just read the Digital Foundry review on Eurogamer - seems handheld mode is by far the better playing option performance-wise, which suits me fine. I have played my Switch in docked mode exactly twice since getting it. Portable all the way :toot:

Yeah, I've rarely played it docked. In fact, I played BotW docked the other day and noticed juddering that either doesn't exist in handheld, or is much less apparent on the small screen.
