(As in, BIY deserves its own thread.)

Jazzem wrote:Ooh pretty good sale here! Grabbed Alex Kidd which as per usual M2 standards is a lovely rerelease  Even has all the boss rock paper scisssor solutions on one of the border options. Though was hoping Gain Ground, as another Sega Ages release, would also be on sale d'oh

Tempted to get a few others. Most likely Baba is You, especially after the praise on this page :) Also Puyo Champions for £3.99, hmm

I grabbed Puyo Puo Champions on OC and it ran really oddly for me.

At least it isn't like Garfield Kart and which makes my PC shuts down.

Just bought a Switch on Amazon. Arrives next Saturday.

Switch (neon), 256 memory card, pro controller, Kirby, Yoshi, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 and Astral Chain all ordered. Got £30 free E credit with that which will be spent on Gun Lord and the MUA 3 season pass.

I had a switch previously but sold it (big mistake) now I'm back to the world of Nintendo. I still have my eye on the switch mini but I think this is a better choice as I'll use it hooked to a TV given that option.

Also Zelda Links Awakening and Luigi's Mansion 3 for Christmas is a exciting prospect.

Wish my image sig would work

Welcome (back) to Switch Squad, Godzilla!

Seeing the chat here about Baba is You, I'm tempted to dive in so I've done some digging and reviews are generally very positive. The one thing deterring me is mention of the difficulty; apparently it starts off being pretty accessible but presents a bit of a challenging spike after not too long.

For those of you playing it, do you feel that the solutions are logical and achievable?

Forever to be put on the back of every game box in my head ^.^

But that's a bugger on the PC version, odd. I imagine that's where the online playerbase would be long term.

They are bloody hard but always logical and achievable. That’s why I like it so much: the feeling of ‘FARKIN’ YASSSSS’ when you beat one of the harder ones is immense because it’s all down to your mental skill!

Fire Emblem Warriors is £23 on Switch at Amazon UK.

I've finished it on release and it's very good fun. Not as good as Hyrule Warriors but still a great hack and slash game.

The Splatoon event on Tetris 99 is out now. Only 100 points gets you the background to keep.

Not sure whether to get Fire Emblem Three Houses on release or just leave it to later in the year. Definitely want the game, just have too much to play.
