Potentially stupid question time..... I'm thinking of buying Splatoon 2. Is the online still live? I know there was a big event and the road map for the game has finished but is it still live to play?

People are still playing the first online, I wouldn’t worry too much about the online for 2 still being active. It’ll be going strong for awhile.

It's just the Splatfests (a weekend-long community event) and content updates that have ended, the online is still there as normal.

A 'spiritual successor' as the kids say. A few of the people who worked on it were Bullfrog employees back in the day, so I have high hopes.

It reviewed well on PC, let's hope the port is good.
