£70 in 1997 is the equivalent of £130 today :slol:

Proof that games have gotten cheaper over the years. AAA publishers can barely get by nowdays :( .

I paid £70 For perfect dark on launch day :dread:

My parents also bought me virtua racing on the megadrive for the same price, but it was totally worth it :datass:

Yeah N64 games were fairly extortionate at the time, particularly as most stuff on PS1 seemed to be launching at £30/£40 by that point.

Same here. last time I checked I was around 500+h on XC2

I think I played for like 76 hours

To be fair it is on a NG+ playthrough

I think I clocked about 120 hours on my playthrough of XC2 - could have easily doubled that if I went back and finished off all the side stuff and blades that I wanted to get but just haven't had the chance!

Just doing Ursula's side quest would easily double the time.

If a side quest takes 120 hours I don't think it's a side quest any more

I don't think I even got Ursula, let alone did her side quest!

Will definitely be doing a NG+ at some point, such an incredible game.

I love Xenoblade 2 but the Ursula side quest is one of the stupidest things I’ve ever seen in a videogame :slol: :fp:

I took one look at how I’d have to do it and said nope. Shame, because it could have been a really nice side quest had they done it properly.

Surprised it didn’t get patched. What, the entertaining Nottish guard lines are worthy of removal but the most ridiculous Blade in the game isn’t? :dread:

...don’t forget me!

Fair play, that is a bloody good deal!

Not sure what I paid for my 200GB a while back but it wasn't much less than that. I've still not filled that up though, I've been fairly impressed with how much I've managed to get on to it so far.

Hyper Sentinel is only 99p this week. If you have a Switch and don't own it then shame on you. Not only is it made by one of our own but it's also excellent. Only a buck a show.

Wargroove man, Wargroove

Had no idea how much I was itching for a new turn based strategy like this. Still find the genre intimidating as hell but in Advance Wars style proceedings it works for me

Oh my goodness yes, do it for our own Starquake  It being a superb little arcade shooter certainly doesn't hurt.

Looking forward to playing Turok 2 again. Tried running it on an emulator but it’s dodgy as anything. Can see through walls and stuff.
