Folders would be nice, I like how straightforward the system is though.

It really needs a Miiverse and Streetpass equivalent.

Yeah I'm not fussed about folders myself.

On a smartphone or computer where there are large numbers of things that I may want regular access to then it makes sense to allow for folders to organise them. But on a console the main distinction is between "games I am currently playing" and "games I'm pretty much done with". The former will be easily accessible as they will get sorted to the top by default and if I really want to go back and discover a game that I was previously done with I can handle looking down the list!

What’s not clear if if moving your head will rotate the camera around link, or if it will function more like you are looking around the way the other VR stuff works. Hopefully it is the latter as that will be much more natural.

Marvel Alliance 3 confirmed for July 17th via Twitter.

Probably means no General Direct this month (and likely before E3). Still think we've got a Mario Maker 2 Direct on the way though.

It does reference being able to turn off a "motion-controlled camera", which might give some hints to the head tracking.

If you’re not a fan of the motion-controlled camera, you can turn it off by adjusting the Aim with motion controls setting under Options, and enjoy the VR experience that way instead. Even with the motion-controlled camera turned off, I hope this new experience is enough of a twist to give players a reason to try the VR visuals out.

EDIT: Yup

The controls and overall game content are the same as normal, but you’ll be able to get a new perspective on Hyrule. And as you look around with the VR Goggles, the in-game camera will move accordingly.

My copy is delayed 'til Friday. Will be the first Final Fantasy game I've played since the SNES days but I've heard good things so looking forward to it. :)

I really enjoyed FFX back on the PS2 but it's one of the few Final Fantasy games that I own which I have only completed once - I intend to grab it on Switch at some point to rectify this! I remember really enjoying the battle and progression mechanics in X - the battle system was incredibly slick and fast compared to FFIX which had become almost unbearably slow at times.

I'm probably going to end up picking up all of the FF games that are making their way to Switch eventually, it's a series that I have not paid much attention to for a long time and replaying FFVII has really given me an itch to get back into them all! I'm actually getting more and more disappointed that FFVIII seems to be getting left behind - it's not perfect but I think it's a better game than it gets credit for!

Does FFX-X2 come with a reversible cover? That horrific banner puts me off. Tempted to import, as sad as that sounds.

I will probably end up buying FFX, FFX-2 and FFXII on PC. The Switch tax is strawberry floating insane.

I liked FFX and its sequel. Auron :datass:

it kind of does, the inside is the same as the out side minus said banner and the usual blurb and screenshots on the back
