Gold points balance or PayPal? As I say I've not used PP so couldn't say how that would work but yes your UK points will remain available for whenever you next purchase from the UK (and you'll have some US points for when you buy from there again!)

I tend to use my Revolut card to purchase from different stores as its free and has no currency conversion charges.

Perhaps I'm doing it wrong, but I've never been able to use PayPal when buying from another region's eShop. Something about using a foreign debit card in the transaction. I've always had to buy points cards.

Also if you're using the US store, you'll want a ZIP code in Washington- zero sales tax, y'see. ;)

Yeah that's why I go for the Revolut card when region shopping. Good tip on Washington!

No, I've got an actual balance of £25 on my eshop account (bought a card on eBay when it was 15% off). I've a feeling this will lock my account to this region until the balance is zero. Best option might be to create a new account on the Switch or maybe convert one of my kids accounts...

Ah okay, sorry my misunderstanding. I've never used shop credit so I'm not sure unfortunately - must be info out there on it though?

I tend to just too up with what I need for each purchase.

I wonder if they are looking to make Zelda more of annual franchise going forward?

2017: BotW
2018: Hyrule Warriors
2019: Link’s Awakening
2020: BotW 2
2021: Wind Waker HD/Twilight Princess HD combo?
2022: another 2D Zelda

It’s been an annual franchise for awhile, 2012 was the last year without a Zelda game in some form I believe:

2016 - Twilight Princess HD
2015 - Majora’s Mask/Triforce Heroes
2014 - Hyrule Warriors
2013 - Wind Waker HD/Link Between Worlds
2012 -
2011 - Ocarina of Time 3D/Skyward Sword

Weren't Monolithsoft advertising for someone to work on the map a little while back? That would suggest it won't be the same Hyrule.

well in an interview seen here https://www.gameinformer.com/e3-2019/20 ... the-sequel anouma talks about revisiting the same hyrule, so if it is the same monolith are probably making changes to it

They released a feedback survey after the demo a few months ago and it looks like they've made a lot of improvements after that:

I enjoyed what I played of the Prototype Missions, and the game absolutely oozes style. If it wasn't missing some of the functionality that you get with the Joy-Cons, the Hori Controller in conjunction with this game looks absolutely gorgeous. Will wait on some reviews and response to the game, as there other titles coming out higher on the totem pole for me.

Interesting if the rumour is correct.
