I hope they don't. and some law is passed the no more remasters unless the game is 25+ years old and is more like Crash and Spyro than most other Cash Grabs.

I didn't say they were, I said they need to be done like those games. as it's not a slight resolution bump, but a full remake.

I know I'm just messing around ;)

Glad we're on the same page! :)

I think remakes/remasters/ports etc are fine and all have a place (especially in a world where backwards compatibility is still not a guarantee  ) but need to be a compliment to and not replacement for work on actual new games.

I'd say so, but I seem to like the game more than most. If you're a Suda and NMH fan then I'd say go for it, just be prepared for a different kind of game. It has some cool ideas (and some very cool references) that you have to push through some levels overstaying their welcome to get to. The first level is also probably the weakest and most generic, so you have to push past that also. The gameplay itself is made much more fun once you start unlocking various skill chips and can choose which and in what combination to use.

Cool, i’ve never played NMH but I am hoping they do manage to get the remasters on NMH 1 & 2 out before 3 hits.

Well in that case... probably try and play NMH

That said I still need to play NMH 2!

Gotta download that demo when I get home from work in the morning, didn’t get on as well as others with necrodancer so maybe some Zelda tunes will help me get “into” the series

Cadence of Hyrule is great, even if you’re not the greatest at rhythm games there’s a fixed beat mode where the enemies only move when you do, I found the joy con rumble/beat helped for finding my rhythm at some points, the joy con rumble is really loud though  now there’s a demo out you’ve nothing to lose!

Anyone here tried Darkwood? Looks quite good (I’ll be waiting for a sale on it mind) from the trailer, seems to do s great job of creating a tense, creepy atmosphere. Just wondered if anyone here had played and what your thoughts are?

So it is! Might grab it anyway as I’ll probably get it at some point anyway.

And the Switch tax is £24.99. GTF.

I can understand that it's a "new" game for Switch but, considering that the standard PS Store price for the PS4, PS3 and Vita versions is around £12.99, it does feel like the publisher is placing this at a pretty high point.

I bought Terraria and I absolutely love it. I’ve put a lot of time in and it’s a rewarding play experience. Incredible game really. I suppose £25 is a lot but if I didn’t know it was cheaper elsewhere I’d say it’s good value.
