I love the Switch. Love the games, too! Cracking machine.

But how, over the course of two-and-a-half years, have we got up to version 9 of the system software with barely any cool new functionality being added? Or even basic stuff. Sure, it's slick and efficient but, for me, feature-wise it can feel like a bit of a step backwards from the 3DS and Wii U. It's not bad, of course - I really like the Twitter posting capability! - but surely we should by now be able to select from more than just Basic White and Basic Black as a theme?

Right on cue, Nintendo Life has listed ten things they'd like to see sorted out for Switch. I like their ideas! Are there things that you'd like to see added or improved?

Folders and stuff would be nice but to be honest if it doesn't happen then I don't mind. As long as it plays my games then I'm happy.

I expect to be the only one to feel this way.

I heard it mentioned when Moon Remix RPG was announced. But in the context i heard it, it was just somebody wishing it would be remade, rather than anything official.

Just some classic nintendo game music playing in the background in the eshop or something would do it for me. It feels so lacking in character after the Wii and Wii U.

I love the Switch but system feature wise it’s so poor! Even the online stuff is really poor.

The only reason I have the online sub is because i got a year for free through Twitch Prime. I don’t think I will pay for the service once that sub expires.

My left joy con analogue stick when rotating clockwise seems to "click" at 12 o clock. Is this normal?

NSW is taken by New South Wales, so the Switch will have to be SWN. Switch W Nintendo.

But GCN is being used by the Global Cycling Network, so someone needs to change. When I said it was already being used, I meant in relation to something within videgames. Otherwise we'd probably already be out of abbreviations.

Although it that were the case, I'd never have to get confused when people just used AC. What's that meant to mean? Assassin's Creed? Animal Crossing? Some other two word game that I don't even know about?
