Ah! I've only played Super so will give Smash a go. Super was great fun and I suspect that the simple gameplay hasn't really aged... although the dreadful mode 7 end change will have  .

I saw Smash Tennis and mistook it to be Super Tennis... I guess Super is already available?

For some reason I have barely even looked at the SNES / NES Online offerings. Something about it being tied to the subscription service just puts me off; which I know is a bit silly as I'm paying it anyway.

It's a great way to get into some of these games that really have stood the test of time.

I recently played through SMW in full for the first time. Dat rewind function :datass:

Think I'll do Super Punchout next.

Shadow of the Ninja (aka Blue Shadow) is an ace game. This is a pretty decent update

Super Pop N Twinbee is brilliant, almost as good as Parodious. Hopefully we get Batman Returns, Maximum Carnage, Super Turrican and Alien Vs Predator too.

Wish my image sig would work

It's an Endgame reference to Captain America's line at the end of the film

The ResetEra Direct algorithm is predicting 54 minutes to either a Direct announcement, or chaos and hysteria if there isn't one.

To be honest, a Direct on a Thursday kind of merits an announcement today if they're following the 24-hour announcement thing of the last few times.

Is Switch Dark Souls a good version and do you need the online sub to use the online features in the game?

I’ve not played it, but I’ve heard that they butcher the soundtrack.

Not sure which would be more fun.

Switch is where I played Dark Souls for the first time and I absolutely loved it.

It's a great version of the game, it runs far better than the original last gen versions did and looks pretty good as well. I found it worked really well on Switch because it was easy to dip in and out as and when I wanted which helped in dealing with any frustrating sections.

No idea about the online features as I never used them, but my guess would be yes you need the sub.

Anyone planning to try out this Pokémon washing experience?

The next "big" releases for Switch are:

Fire Emblem: Three Houses: Cindered Shadows DLC - 13 Feb
Darksiders Genesis - 14 Feb
Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate - 14 Feb
Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl Gold - 14 Feb
Rune Factory 4 Special - 28 Feb
Metro Redux - 28 Feb
Pokémon Rescue Team: Mystery Dungeon DX - 6 Mar
Animal Crossing: New Horizons - 20 Mar

I kinda wouldn't be surprised if we didn't have a full Nintendo Direct until after the new Animal Crossing launches.

They have nothing dated for after Animal Crossing.

You would have thought Feb would be the time to announce anything for April to June. If they're not doing a Direct this month and waiting to March, it suggests they don't have much to announce in that time frame.
