Seems legit but grain of salt an’all that, this is what would push me into signing up to the online service!

I don’t think impressions were overly positive to be honest, you would be better off waiting out for Wargroove

Exactly what I was going to suggest!

Doesn't release till March does it? Googled reviews and comments on the game and comes across that it basically should have launched as it is now (Like they've only just included online and a new chapter in the campaign) rather than a bare bones piss easy game. Think I have about 200 gold coins which would knock £2 off wouldn't it so surely worth the £8 :shifty:

Hopefully a quick and easy question here.

I got a German Amazon voucher from work so was planning on buying the download code for Celeste. However, my Switch is UK and my eshop is set to UK. Would a code from German Amazon work on it? I don't want to buy it and it not work obviously.

Cheers

If it doesn't just change your location to Germany in your profile settings, use the code, change back and download.

Oh it got delayed because everyone found out about it, it ruined the surprise.

Likewise, it'd definitely help push me into signing up for it as well, I've also seen another rumour saying dataminers have found 3 classic emulator codenames as well, one for the SNES and 2 unknown. Very hard to believe anything that's leaked/discovered these days though until official confirmation.

That list of SNES games  That would be the first time Demon's Crest and Stunt Race FX are re-released, both tremendous. Two of the best OSTs on the system too

Has anyone got one of these joy-cons that have a dpad for playing games like tetris or platformers properly in handheld mode?

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Nintendo-Switc ... y-con+dpad

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

If your comfortable with tinkering around or have had experience changing the shell on a joy-con then that's the better option.

Nintendo have revealed the most played Switch games of 2018 in Europe,

1. Fortnite
2. The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild
3. Super Mario Odyssey
4. Splatoon 2
5. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
6. FIFA 18
7. Minecraft
8. Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu
9. Pokemon Let's Go Eevee
10. Xenoblade Chronicles 2
11. Skyrim
12. Rocket League
13. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle
14. Pokemon Quest
15. Stardew Valley
16. Dragonball Xenoverse 2 for Nintendo Switch
17. Octapath Traveller
18. Super Smash bros Ultimate
19. Paladins
20. Super Mario Party
21. Mario Tennis Aces

This is based on playtime, so has nothing to do with sales/downloads/revenue

Pokémon Let’s Go come a lot higher in that list than I thought they would, having only released mid November.

Same for Ultimate, given it only had around three weeks to make an impact.

Thought the same thing. It’s free, though, and potentially can be played forever. And its online multiplayer doesn’t require Nintendo’s service. So it kind of makes sense.

Apparently, 4 emulators were found during the NSO data mining. If NES and SNES are 2 of them, I wonder what the others might be? I personally hope one of them is a GBA emulator and we get GBA games added to the service as well

Me too, at the moment the only official emulator of GBA games is tied to the Wii U, and i find the low resolution of GBA games is a bit tough to take on the big screen, and the Gamepad screen is pretty low quality (i'm being kind with my choice of words).

I had been considering an Everdrive for my GBA, but they are pricey, and playing on the Switch would allow save states etc.
