I think Spyro only has a nostalgia factor for people who where 5-10 years old when it came out. I was 23 at the time, and stayed well clear of it.

Spyro is a legitimately great trilogy of platformers, and I played them for the first time maybe 5 years ago

Has Spyro even been officially announced for the Switch yet? I know it's been all but confirmed (it appearing on Nintendo UK website was pretty telling) but don't recall anything official as of yet.

Edit, great that YouTube is finally on the Switch as well, will download shortly :)

Youtube came out of nowhere unless I missed some development!

That's great

First impressions of the Youtube app are solid, image quality is really nice! Interface is a bit confusing at first but seems fully featured, can use touch screen or buttons though is curiously missing touch scrolling

I thnk there was something about it on Twitter last week. As in someone noticed on youtube it said Nintendo Switch in the tiny writing with a date for something or something. Man, I bet that clarify's a lot

I guess Nintendo were stuck between thinking it's something that people have been waiting for so a great announcement to make, but also it's embarrassing that it has only just arrived

Nope, not officially announced yet but there’s been a lot of signs that it’s happening, the biggest being the one you mentioned

Has anyone played Pool Panic? It’s on sale on the eshop right now and wonder if it’s worth picking up

It's sat on my watch list, I'd also like to hear any opinions. The little I've read seems positive

Used youtube last night to put on Dr Katz, it works good

Think my left Joy Con is borked. It randomly spikes upwards in games, so for example playing Stardew Valley my character will suddenly start moving upwards.

What can be done?

My left joycon had some issues when I was playing Mario, I just moved the dock closer to me, and it seems to have sorted it out.

Sounds like what happened to mine, sticks drifting out seems to be a common issue

If you're in warranty, send it to Nintendo for repair (https://nintendoservicecentre.co.uk/). You can also send it there out of warranty, like I did with both my joy cons, but they wanted to charge me £29 per joy con so I had them sent back. When I got them back, they seemed to have been fixed anyway, but that fix didn't last long as after a weekend of playing one of the sticks started drifting again.

I bought replacement joy cons second hand and they are fine at the moment. My advice is to sell the joy con and buy a replacement

Maybe a can of compressed air?

I'm sure I read somewhere this issue was caused by dust/dirt getting under the thumbstick?
