Such a fantastic game and so generous with a consistent stream of new surprises and items and ideas.

Gets my highest recommendation for Switch-y Good Times.

Need to give Gungeon some more time, only played a few runs and they all ended super early

Currently I'm playing Moonlighter which you might also find appealing. Rouguelike dungeons but persistent progress outside of them and a neat shop owning/loot selling focus.

I bought this over the weekend. Took a bit of getting into but the gameplay loop is right up my street. Definite recommendation from me.

The rumors that are floating around is that it will be Let's Go Togepi and Let's Go Marill. But yes gen 8 first which I can't wait for!

If the monsters are all as well-designed as Melmetal I’ll pass. :dread:

I was hoping for Let’s Go Umbreon/Espeon if they do Let’s Go games based in Johto (which I really hope they do), never been a huge fan of Marril and Togepi really.

Just do Let's Go Johto Gold/Silver with whatever starter you pick being your buddy Pokemon, and let them evolve this time.

After initially being sceptical, I’ve quite enjoyed my Eevee growing into a multi-tutored defensive powerhouse. (The stat boosts help.) I do think it’s a bit odd to prevent the starters from evolving, though, given how prominent a feature of the series evolution is.

I guess they went down the yellow route where you couldn't evolve Pikachu ( I think,) Also can you imagine a Raichu on your shoulder?

As much as I loved that Swamp Defense 2 game, it's a pile of broken crock. When you get to the third area, there is absolutely no way to progress as the first level bugs out the game. Should really have grabbed a screenshot of how broken it was, but needless to say it's now been uninstalled.

Still, Smash Ultimate in a few days. I'm sure it'll be taking quite a lot of time from me.

By the end of this year, there'll be 29 playable NES games on the Nintendo Switch Online service. Next week, on 12th December, the final three games for 2018 will be added to this digital library. Below is a brief description of each one from the official PR:

Adventures of Lolo – After the love of his life, Lala, is kidnapped by the devilish King Egger and taken to his haunted castle, our hero, Lolo, sets out to rescue her. The journey is perilous, as the Great Devil’s fortress is guarded by a massive army. But Lolo has a few tricks up his sleeve. Combining clever environmental puzzles with tricky enemies and an engaging style, Adventures of Lolo is a true classic.
Ninja Gaiden – Take on the role of Ryu Hayabusa, a rising ninja in his family’s clan who travels to America to seek vengeance for his father’s death. Fight your way through six challenging side-scrolling chapters/14 stages (not including boss battles) while defeating gangs of street thugs, battling evil ninjas and fighting barbarian bosses by using the deadly Dragon Sword, ninja skills and ninja magic.
Wario’s Woods – Control Toad as he scrambles along the bottom of the screen picking up monsters and bombs and arranging them vertically, horizontally and diagonally to clear the screen of enemies. This game features several modes of play, such as basic, lesson and time race. If you like puzzle games like Dr. Mario, you will definitely love this one!
In addition to this announcement, Nintendo confirmed more games will be added to the NES service next year, starting in January. At this point in time, no information about these upcoming releases has been revealed.
