I believe we're now in the territory of the second longest gap between Directs since they started doing them.

I'm really surprised they haven't yet. I would expect one in the coming weeks because they have a lot to cover for this year on the announced titles alone and that's before you get to anything they haven't revealed yet.

Agreed, my signature’s going to start looking daft if we don’t get much this year either.

perhaps we'll get a pokemon direct soon to announce gen 8, a new gen is usually announced at the start of the year

Wouldn’t surprise me if the new gen Pokémon just got announced in May as seems the norm for Pokémon games of recent years.

They certainly could, and it would be a huge announcement (to the point where it probably needs its own direct/video) for a early 2019 direct, would certainly replace Metroid Prime 4 (as I presume that would have been the highlight before it got cancelled) as the main focus.

It’s quite funny going on Resetera, page after page dedicated to wondering why Nintendo haven’t announced a direct yet

It just seems like they are now coasting until the end of the FY, I fully expect the release schedule for April-December to be packed of content.

Yeah it should be quite full as they’ve only released 2 first party games so far haven’t they? In Travis and Mario Bros U port. It’ll n 3 by the end of March when Yoshi has released as well.

Just noticed Donut County is "Not available for purchase" on the store despite releasing in December! What's that all about? Hope it'll be back soon...

Just seen an AC3/Liberation trailer on YouTube for the upcoming remaster (out 29th March) but despite a few retailers listing it for Switch it seems like it was another load of rubbish (I can’t see why Ubisoft would let Nintendo show it off in a direct rather than them just putting the Switch logo at the end of the trailer), still wondering why they’ve not put the Ezio collection on the Switch, I’d be there day one for that trilogy.

This happened with some of the Johnny Turbo releases as well (Night Slashers I think) and they’ve not come back up since :?

I heard that Tatsumi Kimishima is holding Miyamoto hostage at gunpoint until Shuntaro Furukawa hands over the keys to the executive bathroom, which he's cunningly hidden inside a banana. :shifty:

Yes I heard it wasn't a great game.

I hope people don't waste money on buying AC3.

Maybe Ubisoft is doing the reverse of what EA did on the WiiU. Instead of Nintendo getting just one game while others get a trilogy, we Nintendo fans get the trilogy while other consoles get just the third game.

Which does bring up the question of why not just release the trilogy on all consoles, but Nintendo has the least accessible access to the original titles.

To be honest I quite enjoyed AC3, not the best game in the series by far but still had some good elements to it.

Didn't like ityself. Can't stand Connor who you play as for 90% of the game and for me it is the worst AC game I have played.

Ok. Ad7 seems to be agreeing with me a lot recently. Am I becoming another Victor Meldrew?

Ass Creed 3 and Unity are the series low points.

I'm willingly to give 3 another go, because a lot of my grievances were of a technical nature (it ran like total ass).
