I read two reviews, one was a pretty meh 6 and the other was an 8 but that came from NintendoLife so I was assuming some level of weighting needed to be applied. Maybe I'll search out a couple more.

It's sitting at 78 on metacritic and the headlines all sound pretty positive that it's a return to form for Mario Party

Which last happened on like, the DS version?

An easy yardstick for me would be, is it as good as or better than Mario Party 4? If it is then I'll buy it.

Is that one of the lads from N64's Magazine I'm The Best? I'm sure I recognise that name [Janne] from back in the day 8-)

Been doing some reading. Apparently you can only play Super Mario Party with one joycon and the game does not support the pro controller.

It has only 4 boards (for now) which are greatly reduced in size and rather bland. Though there are hints that older boards may make an appearance in the future.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Are they greatly reduced in size from classic mario party (koopa's kabana) or recent mario party? (Ten steps to the star: repeat)?

I ordered it from Amazon earlier. It best be good now.

I had a quick go of Super Mario Party (10 turns on one board) it’s good, the mini games are fun (the ones I played anyway) but the boards are smaller from the older MP’s and they don’t seem to have as much going on.

I’ll play some more over the weekend but you do have to play with a single joycon as some mini games have motion controls so no Pro controller or even playing in handheld mode

If the fact you can refuse to yeah back your teammate in Mario Party doesn't interest you then I don't know what else would make you want it...

Seriously, you can do this.

I know a lot of you have probably put fisher on ignore but what’s the deal with his posts? I’ve ignored them for 200 and something days but I’m not curious. Did he lose some kind of bet?
