I'm sure I read somewhere this issue was caused by dust/dirt getting under the thumbstick?

This could explain how mine seemed fixed but then started developing the issue again. I might try this.

You can buy something very similar now. It plugs into the headphone jack and allows you to connect any Bluetooth headphones you want. I bought one for my stereo system, cost me under £15 from amazon. Rechargeable using USB and has 20+ hours of run time.

I read some of the Kickstarter one and it seemed to imply that the headphone socket with a Bluetooth adapter lessons the sound quality compared to their method. I'm sure there was more I do too.

This one goes in the usb port and also does some low latency stuff if your headphones support it(that I've no idea about). Comes with a headphone adaptor that is actually a mic too.

I couldn't watch the video posted, just thought I'd mention it. It's cool there are several ways to get various things connected so people can enjoy the switch in different ways.

I gotta highlight Starquake's superb use of the Switch's News Channel for his Hyper Sentinel game. I like the news channel although some developers make pretty light use of it... whereas 'Quake has put in an amazing effort. Right from when the game launched, he has posted a raft of hints and tips alongside a wonderful "diary" of the game's development that gives great insight as to how the game came to be. It's currently up to Part 20 and it is well worth a read; especially as it's in small, digestible chunks.

Bravo, Starquake - the best compliment I can give is that it reminds me of the "Diary of a game" series published in Zzap! 64 magazine .

What with Let's Go, Eevee! and Smash Ultimate coming, I had a look at how much space I had. Imagine my surprise when 3.6GB of my 64GB card was being took up by videos. I hadn't realised I'd still got most of them. I usually delete them once shared to Twitter. Obviously I hadn't been doing so for some time. I've now rid myself of most of them - all Mario Kart videos from the Monday sessions.
Still not enough in Smash Ultimate's case, so in the end, sacrifices have to be made. Bye, bye, Go Vacation. You probably won't be missed.

Probs worth noting that, if anyone has the money available at the moment, prices are currently pretty decent on micro sd cards. At Amazon, a Sandisk 128 Gb card is "just" £21.59... whilst a 400 Gb card is £101; still not exactly cheap but way less than it was just a while ago.

Oh, and just in case anyone uses a Mac rather than a PC, I've discovered that the data transfer process (i.e. copying the folder from one card to another) doesn't work on that format. I ended up re-downloading my stuff.

I'll certainly miss it in some regard, but next to Smash, a return to MHGU, and the host of other games, it will more than likely be forgot about with Starlink available to fill its role.

Haha. Yeah, although this is an all new video with fully updated graphics, sound effects etc. It’s massive fun to play.
