Nope, it’s all completely from “insiders”.

For what it’s worth though, King Zell on ResetEra says it’s coming and last week confirmed the Direct date as well as Mario Maker 2, Box Boy and 2D Zelda.

Nope just speculation from "insiders".

Been ages since I've played Armoured Core but Daemon x Machina seems pretty similar to it in a lot of place. Controls take a bit of getting used to but it looks like they're completely customisable. Performance is poor on the second mission so I hope they get that sorted for launch. Seems pretty fun and there's a ton of gear customisations which I love in these sort of games.

I'm sure this has been commented on before, but 2019 for the Switch really is 2013 for the 3DS:

Luigi's Mansion 2 - Luigi's Mansion 3
New Leaf - Animal Crossing
Fire Emblem Awakening - Three Houses
Link Between Worlds - Link's Awakening
Pokémon X & Y - Pokémon Gen 8

2013 was a big year for the 3DS and considering it is all but done this year, I wonder how much of the above is a deliberate strategy by Nintendo to try and convert 3DS owners who have yet to make the move to Switch.

That was a tremendous year for the 3DS. Did that have Kid Icarus Uprising too? I suppose Daemon x Machina would be the vague parallel!

A Tetris Battle Royale is such a daft sounding thing on paper, but it's a complete blast to play.

My girlfriend loves Tetris, and she's regularly placing in the top 20.

I, however, have yet to crack the top 60. One game I had 7 people target me from the get-go, and I didn't even last 30 seconds.

Came in number 2 on my first go of Tetris. Could have won if I didn't panic.

I've got my original ff7 copy in the loft with a ps3 I can play it on now.

I've got it on my vita which is in this room. I could play it now.

SO WHY AM I GOING TO BUY IT AGAIN FOR THE SWITCH FFS :fp:

I don't know, more so as you complain about ports more than I do. Mr Hypocrite.

one of the biggest surprises to me from the Direct is Hellblade coming to Switch

I’m amazed at just what this system can do at times, this looks fantastic! Dragon Quest also impressed me visually

It just shows you what the right optimisations can achieve when developing for Switch. I hope Capcom can get the REengine running on Switch so that we might get Resident Evil 2 or DMC5 someday.

IKR, not even an HD remaster.

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Epic have done a really good job with Unreal Engine 4 support for Switch, both Hellblade and Dragon Quest use that and Yoshi's Wooly World as well.

Ahh didn’t realise they all run on UE4, Mortal Kombat uses Unreal as well right? So we should see similar results.

Hopefully more and more devs get game engines running on Switch as well this, Panic Button also has done wonders with Bethesda’s tech for Doom and Wolfenstein
