I had a second Joy-Con fall victim to drift yesterday, even after a dose of contact cleaner - probably about time to send them in. What's the play? Contact Nintendo, and when they ask you to pay for the privilege, bring up the various class action lawsuits?

Also, you’d like to think if it does exist they’d have actually released it already? You could say how they’ll be waiting till nearer MP4’s release so people could play 1 to 3 and then 4, but considering the few gaps that we’ve had in the Switch’s first party line up that they could have slotted this into but chose not to does make me doubt its existence sadly.

My 8BitDo Pro 2 arrived today and it's pretty damn nice. Going to take a bit of getting used to those PS style analogue sticks but the DPad and rest of the buttons/triggers feel great.

So I went my Switch came this morning, went out this afternoon to buy a 2nd controller. Got back and look for Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance and find out the release has been delayed by a few days. Have Mario 3d All Stars coming in the post but until then have nothing to play.

Is there a Co-Op I can get off the e-store anyone would recommend? Something which doesn't have a physical release, as anything which does, I'd rather have the physical copy.

Just had a look and that Pro 2 controller looks great - I've been really impressed with the quality of my 8bitdo M30. I have a Nintendo Pro Controller but I'm still pretty tempted to pick one up.

Seconded, it's ruddy gorgeous. Really nice weight to it.

I'm not sure it'll replace my pro controller, what with the stick position and the analog triggers, but I'll likely get a lot of use out of it on my PC.

Heave Ho is a brilliantly fun co-op game, I play it with my GF and it’s always a laugh

What type of co-op experiences are you looking for though?

My favourite co-op games on Switch have been the two Overcookeds (you can get them in an All You Can Eat special package, not sure if retail), Cat Quest II which nobody ever mentions but is good fun, and Mario 3D World (obviously retail-available). Not played Heave Ho but I strongly recommend the Overcookeds at least (assuming your relationship with your co-op partner is strong...).

It isn’t out yet, but she might also be interested in this winemaking game which is due later this year.

I think some kind of traditional action/platform/RPG. She's not played a video game for over 10 years and I think that was only Mario Kart. Something where I can pick up a bit of slack. Maybe avoid the Lego Games as I'm not a huge fan. Though I'm hoping now by the time we get around to trying it out this weekend, Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance will have actually been released and Arianna the Sorceress will be able to guide through Kromlech on easy.

I've bought Sakuna for my sister. So let's see if she get's on for it. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

Have you heard of PHOGS!?

It's a puzzle game where you play as a two-headed dog a la CatDog, each of you controls one head as you stretch/shrink, push/pull objects and platforms, and use yourself as a garden hose among other things.

It's very cute, and it's not especially taxing, so there's not much opportunity for getting mad at each other.

Honestly, have a look at Heave Ho, it’s simple to pick up and is a ton of fun in co-op 2-4 players

I’ve seen iffy things about that Balders Gate release btw, it’s not had much effort put into the port at all so might be worth holding on for more impressions of the Switch version?
