I do, sorry to get your hopes up! I'm not sure why I haven't played it already to be honest, it sounds right up my street. More surprised that you love it: at first glance it looks like it has a lot of point-and-click DNA?

Return of the Obra Dinn is awesome. Its the only game my wife and I have played through together. For that reason alone it will always be extra special to me.

Deliberate retro graphics. Like others have said, Obra Dinn is truly great. One of my favourites from last gen, alongside The Witness.

I think it's fair to say thats an understatement. She never complains about me enjoying them though, so i'm going to say thats the best i can hope for at this point in our relationship.

Just looked snd it’d cost me about £22 to upgrade my online subscription, presume they’re just knocking of a percentage for how long your current sub has been running? If I upgraded though that’d mean it’d be nearly £40 rather than a total of £35 like they advertise it as if I bought a new subscription, still no plans to upgrade yet though.

No, it's not an Xbox Games Studios game, they've just paid for exclusivity. Not sure if that's timed or not.

Aerial_Knight's recommendations of The Flame in the Flood, A Short Hike and No More Heroes are a really good bunch, that is persuading me to try out his game, Never Yield.

Also I really like how Sea of Solitude looks so it's cool to hear recommendations from the creative/art director - Creaks is the only game there I haven't heard of! Baba Is You is (obviously?!) excellent and I would like to play Spiritfarer.

EDIT: But yeah "hidden gems" is pushing it!
