Surely it's not hard to keep micrtransactions away from gameplay? It's weird when Nintendo games have shitty and more predatory microtransactions than some EA and ubisoft games

I bought it in a previous sale. It’s good. Not as good as Slay the Spire, but perhaps more accessible. Definitely worth £6 if it’s your kind of game, it keeps unlocking new characters and modifiers that make it fun to go back to.

Also been playing Unite and having a lot of fun with it. So far I've got talonflame, slowbro, ninetales, zeraora and venusaur; given them all a try and have settled on slowbro and venusaur as my current mains as they're both pretty fun to use. Slowbro works really well supporting other players with telekinesis and his ability coupled with a shell bell gives him really good bulk, while Venusaur seems like one of the bulkier attacking mon and giga drain + petal dance gives him great utility (although I've also been having fun baiting people into ambushes using sludge bomb+petal dance).

Zeraora seems really broken but I haven't got the hang of it particularly yet; other people seem to be able to almost instakill you with it though

Tomorrow is a huge day for the Switch by 2020 and 2021 standards. NEO TWEWY, Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, and Samurai Warriors 5 all release on one day.

Good thing too, I'm almost through my backlog amazingly. Benefits of being stuck at home I guess!

There's no dedicated thread for it but I'm surprised to see how much I'm enjoying Pokemon Unite. Have next to no experience with mobas but there's mechanics here that are simple with enough depth. It's really addictive lol. Just wish the menus weren't a slog to go through >,>
