Even Nintendo retconned the monkey in it to be Cranky Kong and not Donkey Kong!

technically that was rare

What's the actual source of that gif? I've never been able to find the original clip.

I don't know the source but I suspect it might two different clips spliced together. According to buzzfeed "Sharing memes about all the times Christian Bale and Kermit the Frog were basically twins" was a "2000s thing". I've found a 2008 article on ebaum's world that compares the two as well as a 2008 livejournal blogpost and a 2010 wordpress blogpost so I guess it was a thing that I just don't remember seeing first hand.

Please do let me know how you find it!

Ok I've put a few hours in this afternoon and it's been absolutely great - no stutters, no frame rate drops, no crashes or bugs. I've been playing exclusively in handheld mode and the image is clear and crisp.

The game itself is really chilled but is then punctuated by moments of intense terror as you hear some goliath of the deep roaring beneath/behind you, had so many quick scrambles to the surface

Have just started to unlock/uncover the base-building mechanics so will be spending the evening collecting the resources I need to make my deep-sea home beneath the waves :datass:

The controls are much better than in the original, just because of the lack of waggle. I guess 'controls' could refer to the love-it-or-hate-it weightiness of Kong?

Was at the wife's friend's house yesterday and the husband showed me the new Xbox. Nifty but of kit but some of the games are >100GB in size. :dread:

You'd need four Switches to house a game of that size, it's crazy.

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.
