I'm ready to finish the story but I'm level 75 and I've hit a brick wall in terms of difficulty. Spent all night just chasing side quests to try and level up some more and only went up by two levels. Feels like an arbitrary grind right at the end just to squeeze another fifteen hours out of me.
I'm going to finish it, I just wish the difficulty hadn't spiked so near to the end.
Is it the
Disciple Lorithia boss fight that is causing you trouble? It's quite a spike but can be tamed with the right party set-up. Who are you using?
If all else fails, the DE has sliders that you can use to adjust the difficulty. I did this for the very last boss
That's the one! I'm mainly using Shulk, Dunban and Sharla.
I completely forgot about the easy difficult option so I think I'll just bump it down and breeze through this boss instead of banging my head against it. Thanks for the reminder!
thats the point where i got stuck and stopped playing
I found it quite tricky on my first playthrough but didn't get much of a chance to try the fight with
Melia before I lost my save. When I played through the Definitive Edition, I made sure to switch my party to get used to
Melia's attacks during the dungeon. It wasn't as bad this time and I beat the boss on my second or third try. Obviously it's still quite a spike and not ideal to have to have a particular configuration to make it manageable but it was fun once I knew how to manage it.
Sadly, I didn't fare as well with the very final boss so dropped the difficulty after a while to avoid muddying the end with some grinding.
