I'm going to finish it, I just wish the difficulty hadn't spiked so near to the end.

Is it the Disciple Lorithia boss fight that is causing you trouble? It's quite a spike but can be tamed with the right party set-up. Who are you using?

If all else fails, the DE has sliders that you can use to adjust the difficulty. I did this for the very last boss :shifty:

Doom (2016) is such a good game.

I really need to give the sequel a go.

An NVN2 folder
What appears to be an NVNDLSS Driver

So, why have I posted this in the Switch thread?

NVN is the API that Switch programs are written against. It is developed by NVidia for Nintendo
DLSS is a NVidia specific high resolution/AI Upscaling tech
DLSS requires hardware not in the Switch
A NVN2 folder, and a DLSS driver suggest a DLSS Nintendo device that is pretty far along in development

Looks like Bloomberg were onto something with their 4k Switch articles last year. It’s still early days but more information may trickle out over the coming days/weeks but this is certainly a lot more fuel to the ‘New Switch 2/Pro’ fire.

That's the one! I'm mainly using Shulk, Dunban and Sharla.

I completely forgot about the easy difficult option so I think I'll just bump it down and breeze through this boss instead of banging my head against it. Thanks for the reminder!

Switching to Melia should help a lot, especially as the playable character.

I found it quite tricky on my first playthrough but didn't get much of a chance to try the fight with Melia before I lost my save. When I played through the Definitive Edition, I made sure to switch my party to get used to Melia's attacks during the dungeon. It wasn't as bad this time and I beat the boss on my second or third try. Obviously it's still quite a spike and not ideal to have to have a particular configuration to make it manageable but it was fun once I knew how to manage it.

Sadly, I didn't fare as well with the very final boss so dropped the difficulty after a while to avoid muddying the end with some grinding.

Doesn’t exactly tell us anything new does it? We already know there will be a Switch successor in the future and if it uses an Nvidia chip chances are it’ll have DLSS, seen people on Twitter saying that Nintendo won’t be happy this has been leaked but it’s really nothing new or surprising.

One thing I wonder is how far down the line something could get with a new Nvidia chip model and a "pro version" and still not release it.

I think there's enough smoke from sites like Bloomberg that will have contacts with manufacturing that there's definitely something going on but does that necessarily mean we will definitely one day see it?

From what I understand/have seen online, the information in the leak is further along than just pre-production stage so this is something that is actually quite far into development.

Like you say, Bloomberg mentioned last year that it knew of 11 developers that had devkits for a new Switch console that had 4k/DLSS capabilities. This leak seems to back up those sources somewhat.
