I think it's a cash grab that they have just thrown them all together as cloud versions when most of the games (probably all but Kingdom Hearts 3?) could be ported to Switch. So they took the cheap option and are charging a lot of money for games you have to be always online to stream (on a handheld) and will disappear when the servers go down.

That’s what I meant by the other stuff being dodgy

Having tried the demo I am underwhelmed. Either the connections was dodgy or they gave us very short demo times for a game famous for its lengthy cutscenes. Thus meaning I’m not sure if it works well or not. I was in two minds about it anyway one of my favourite game series coming to my platform of choice but in a form I don’t wish to support. Just disappointing

I tried the demo and wasn’t great, ran a bit poorly, cloud gaming indeed.

New Switch game for January

Banjo Kazooie coming to the Switch tomorrow! Has it been confirmed if it’s the 360 version or the N64 one? I really don’t want to be recollecting those notes again, when I die in a level.

The trailer that has appeared on Nintendo's YouTube channel would indicate it's the N64 version.

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Everything that's going through the N64 app is going to be the N64 version.

Oh well, that’s a shame.

Rusty Bucket Bay and Gobi’s Valley are the worst offenders when it comes to annoying musical notes ….

I can feel the anger rising already …

Can you save state in N64 games on Switch?

That'd also solve it

Just picked these up. Could be nice framed in a game room.

Well wit Banjo coming tomorrow I’m very tempted to jump on the expansion pass now, think I might wait and see what the next couple of games coming to the service are first though.

Yes you can, as per the NES/SNES apps.

I love it and don't use the in-game save functions at all.

To be honest I’d probably leave it till next year if I had to wait for a few more games to come to the service that I’m keen to play, not in a rush really. Games like Banjo just make it more tempting!

I wonder why Nintendo/MS didn't cut a deal to have the HD remastered Banjo N64 games on Switch and sold through the eshop? Why not try to get the best versions on the system (Mind you, same could be said for OoT and MM)
