Did anyone play Rad on Switch? Just seen it’s £3.99 on sale at the moment, I remember it being shown during an indie showcase and it looked pretty good

Anyone played it and know if it’s worth it?

Edit: This game

So, Famicom Detective Club. First thoughts: charming enough, but railroads the player even more than your average Ace Attorney game. Guess that's the NES roots shining through.

Forces you down the one specific path. Literally keeps you on track rather than giving you freedom to investigate/go wrong.

I didn't want to say 'it's linear' because Ace Attorney and, say, Twilight Princess are linear. FDC confines you to an area, or a few areas, until you've solved that set of areas. There's no exploration at all, no option to go back to the detention centre and be told that Maya's still in questioning.

Still. Very pretty game, nice atmosphere.

i find that restricting the areas narrows down finding what to do next. with AA moving between so many areas and so many characters it was easy to lose track of what you had and hadnt done

I think so. It's not for me, but I'm quite looking forward to seeing if he posts any stuff with it.

I’m more than happy to wait but am I right in thinking we’ve not actually seen anything of Silksong since it was announced? Guess if its not at E3 then its more likely a 2022 release. First half of 2022 could be very busy for myself if Pokémon Legends: Arceus, BoTW 2 and Silksong all come out in the first half, in fact the other two could make me hold off on Silksong till I can give it the time it’ll need. All depends when BoTW 2 comes out, that could easily fill the slot for Christmas 2022.

I'm sure I saw Team Cherry don't like to show games properly until they are confident the game is only a few months from release.

Speaking of releases, I’m surprised we don’t have details on what Nintendo’s E3 looks like this year. We know they have signed up so surely can expect a Direct/Digital Event but we are a couple weeks away now and not much has been said.

Usually they do a big announcement because they hold events like Splatoon and Smash tournaments etc.

As this year is likely just going to be a digital direct I guess there isn't a big rush to announce a date.

Thats fine with me, but maybe does make a 2021 release unlikely in my opinion as you’d have thought if it was coming out this year,. E3 would have been the place to show it off for the first time.

Pokémon presents/direct probably a week before E3, Nintendo general direct is normally the Tuesday of E3 (so would be the 15th this year) but who knows when it will be in a all digital event?
