I cannot be the only person who disagrees with this, surely? I can't be the only person who was bothered by dungeons 5 and 6 repeating the themes of dungeons 3 and 2, or who thought several of the bosses were naff, or that the final dungeon was a mess that needed a finale, or that the lack of new enemies after dungeon 4 was bad? Anybody?

I will agree in the characters though. Groose is almost a selling point in himself. Almost.

Probably not, but life is about respecting other peoples opinions ;)

Yes but no bugger seems to agree with mine! At least on here the accepted consensus seems to be that SS' dungeons were the sexiest dungeons outside of a BDSM club, and I just don't see it.

I suppose it's possible that there was some agreement and I was too busy staring in shock at the contrary position to notice it... :shifty:

I have never played it, but they seem pretty damn sexy to me.

That raises an interesting question: which Zelda dungeon is the most like a BDSM sex dungeon? The Spirit Temple has the whole slave Nabooru thing going on, but it doesn't really have the aesthetic.

I can't remember any dungeons in the game.

Its got to be one that features those rubber cucumber looking things in Wind Waker.

Best Zelda game (on an unrelated note).

Not especially impressive IMO.

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

I can just about get you on the Earth Temple and Fire Sanctuary* but the mining facilty and the sandship are really quite different and I wont hear a bad word about the final dungeon. Its like a brilliant meta dungeon. An almost pure distillation of what seperates Zelda dungeons from what nearly all other games call dungeons. There are new enemies after dungeon 4.

*Whilst these two have a lot in common I think that one is entirely underground and the other has a lot outdoors they do enough to keep things fresh. Its also kind of cool that they are both in pretty much the same place which suggests they were once one place long ago. That and the tech in Lanayru really helps create the feeling that the surface has a history which has largly long been forgotten.

It's pretty funny that the origin story for Zelda is still in a world that is very clearly far future from some previous civilisation.

Genuinely think the wii version comes off better for being blurrier :(

Lack of jaggies and Vaseline filter are a definite improvement on the original.

Never played the original but it looks nice enough to me, I can't imagine why anyone would have been expected some kind of major change visually - it was always nailed on as just being the same but higher resolution

I think its because Twilight Princess looked significantly sharper on Wii U vs GC / Wii. That doesn't seem to be the case here.

I'd say it still looks quite sharp in comparison (though I'm only seeing it on my phone) and the higher framerate adds even more to the overall quality.

It would look better on my PS3 to be fair, and I don't even own a PS3

Lack of jaggies is an improvement, but I think the art style doesn't suit being sharp - especially with backgrounds. Maybe like some added depth of field could have countered the stylistic effect of the resolution bump - like having CRT filters on SNES games.

It looks better of course, definitely just a relatively quick turnaround by the looks of it rather than anything too in depth. I don’t think the backgrounds look quite as good without the almost shimmering effect present in the Wii version.

It's a Wii game running on an emulator, like Mario galaxy in the collection. It's not going to have any additions graphically beyond adjusted resolution.
