I'd say a General Nintendo Thread would be in order for anything non-Switch related. No doubt the Mario Movie would be getting its own thread (or does it already have one?) but such a thread would allow talk of everything Nintendo. If one hasn't been set up by this afternoon, I'll take the opportunity to do so.

I might not have gone for a LEGO game on the Xbox in that sale that's just started, but I've definitely bought another of those Kairosoft business management games. I saw it related to ski resorts and instantly wanted to get it. They're just simple, addictive management games, and I love them.

Anyone have issues with the WiFi on Switch?

on the main menu and WiFi signal is showing its not picking up any connection at all. I go into Network settings, find my connection and it shows a WiFi signal being picked up but it just won't connect to the internet.

Any ideas? Tried fully switching off the console as well

Does anyone use a monitor to play their switch in docked mode? Looking for recommendations!

I've hooked the Switch up to my monitor a few times, the only real issue I had was that my monitor is 1440p so with the Switch designed for 1080p screens you do get a bit of a muddy image as a result of not displaying at native resolution.

So my advice would be that if you're doing it make sure it's a 1080p screen

You can get Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the Witch - on Nintendo Switch for £18.28 via Shopto Ebay and the current 20% certain sellers code

Not sure if this is a good version or not?

I have no other version to compare it with. For what it's worth I didn't notice any slowdown, although it did crash twice - that might just be my Switch, it's happened to other titles and they've all been on-cart.

Anyway, I loved it.

I use a monitor for my switch, it's 1080p and the image is amazing. It's a 1ms response time screen too so no discernable lag.

I have my PC and Wii U also hooked up to the same monitor, and use one of these to set up a 3-way connection to the monitor.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07 ... UTF8&psc=1

It has an audio out so I run a cable from it to my audio amp and it all works perfectly. It auto-switches too so no faffing about when you change source.

My monitor has no speakers, and from my experience most that do aren't great quality.

FYI response time is not latency. That's just how quickly pixels switch from one colour to another once they start to change.

Ah OK thanks.

I did notice that when using my Wii U, the gamepad audio was well synced with the audio from my attached speakers, whereas on my TV there's definitely a delay, so it seems better in that respect. I guess it's the absence of picture processing on the monitor compared to the tv?
