This is based on an online survey they did which people answered, not actual recorded data so I'm not sure how accurate it is

It's the closest thing we have though.

I bought Switch as a console and ended up using it as a handheld.

Mine is used about 98% of the time in a dock but reading this forum it does seem a lot of people use in as a handheld.

Ditto. I just use it as a console. Very, very rarely as a handheld. But, I think, the versality that it offers, lets
different people with different lifestyles use it according to their whim. And that is a good thing. And for Nintendo, in terms of sales, a very, very good thing indeed.

I'm genuinely pleased this console has been successful. It was a great idea and launched with great games.

I can only imagine the scrabbling going on in boardrooms across third party developers, trying to get something, anything out for the Switch.

I hope Bethesda were rewarded for their early support.

Capcom putting out that overpriced Street Fighter 2 game then quickly announcing a bunch of ports was pretty funny.

Nintendo have said there have been 8 1m+ sellers and I think 6 have been published by them. Mario x Rabbids is a safe bet so I wonder if Skyrim is the 8th.

They seem quite happy with the sales for USF2, don’t think they have actually revealed numbers for it though.

I’ll pick up the SF collection on Switch along with the Megaman legacy collections :datass:

I'm also glad it is doing well and will now probably pick one up this year.

I think this Christmas will tell a lot about how 3rd parties see it, if we get a couple of big releases on Switch that have the same features as the PS4 and Xbox versions and come out the same day then theyre taking it seriously and look at it as a proper console. If we dont see that and instead get a couple of ports from last years games or games with a reduced feature set then they see it as a novelty and not really something to take seriously. If we see "Party Game Collection 101" then they see it as a new Wii and Nintendo will be doing all the heavy lifting on their own again. Im hoping Doom and Skyrim have sold well enough for Bethesda to take it seriously and put some or their new releases on it, Wolfenstein II is on the way so it looks like they did well enough to warrant one more release at least.
