I bought DK of Gario recently but It's currently buried in the pile of shame. I'm sure I'll get round to it.....

Thanks, Starquake - great stuff and I fully support your thoughts. All of us in Club U remain the Ambassadors of Funk :-).

Rex, cheers - I think I will download it at the weekend. The game is getting a great reception and your view backs that up!

Man, now I've been caught out again... I've not started it :fp: . I'll keep quiet and leave other Club U-vians to share their progress.

I never really clicked with it, which is strange as I loved Returns on Wii. I think I maybe made it to the 2nd world. I might give it a go now actually.

Yeah give it another go, it is good and a nice one to pick up and play in short bursts.

I just realised that cranky can whack stuff when swimming, he is now my swim partner of choice 8-)

Wow, Floex... two months?!? I guess it's 3D World you're after? Unless you're getting a really cheap price, I think I'd be tempted to order it elsewhere (but, yeah, that'll mean paying forty quid).

I love the artwork for Lego Batman 3 and it's great to see that we'll be getting a version for the U.

game.co.uk are running a pre-order offer to get a free minifigure (Plastic Man) with the game but their price is forty quid. ShopTo are asking 37 notes for the standard version and Amazon are asking the same amount.

Usually the minifigure would sway me but I'm not that keen on Plastic'. Why couldn't we have had a Batman fig?

Yeah, sorry I meant that. It was £26, I just wanted a bargain :(

I love Plastic Man! But I didn't really click with Lego Batman 2 on the 360 - even though I love both things going into it. Will see the reception of the Wii-u version on arrival.

I'm currently (somewhat) playing Rayman Legends - a real nice quick pick up game. Between that and SM3DW I'm feeling particularly spoilt with good platforms.

It is really strange that the game isn't coming with a Batman figure, or at least one of the other more well known characters. I got Lego Batman 2 today for the Wii U and the box art is amazing there as well. It's kind of a shame that I'm sending it to Gamestop as part of the trade in deal for Smash U. Ah well, I still have the game on PC so I'll get the enjoy it even if I don't still have dat box art. The blue Wii U case really complements the box art well.

I finished it! Some of the last levels made me almost smash my Gamepad but it's worth seeing through to the end

What's going on with Bayonetta 2? When's it out and have they confirmed if we're getting the double disc pack?

I did manage to pick up the Lego Marvel Super Heroes 'Iron Patriot' minifigure edition for the U. The figure is really quite cool; definitely my favourite of the Lego figure editions.

There still hasn't been confirmation about the Bayonetta format, mm. The initial announcements were unclear and appeared to vary across the gaming territories. The product descriptions on most UK retailer sites suggest that both 1 and 2 are included in the pack... but the cover art has been amended and it doesn't mention the first title. The game is due out in October (specific date TBC) so we should find out soon.

DK Tropical Freeze would be an ace game to play at Christmas... I think I'll save my copy until then!

Just a note I really appreciate the op in this here new "chat" thread.

"It should be common sense to just accept the message Nintendo are sending out through their actions."

Gone Home is coming to Wii U.

The indie selection for Wii U is finally shaping up. Shovel Knight, Guacamelee, The Swapper and Gone Home.

I went for a WD Elements 1TB USB3 drive plus this USB3 Y cable and it's been working a treat.

I'm using an older WD Elements hard drive (it's only 320GB) and a Y-cable I found lying around. It does the job.

I have! It was badass, I didn't find it as hard as DKCR, but it was kinda tough in places.

I would be happy if Retro did another DK game. It would piss off everybody but I'd love it.

Yeah I'm definitely picking it up and prepared to get my arse kicked in some GRcade games

Just keeping an eye out for a tasty Wii U + Mario Kart + Pro controller bundle deal...

Picked up Fire Emblem whilst it was reduced... Can't get enough of it! It's bringing back fond memories most of which are from the bucket load of hours spent last summer with Awakening.
