Zelda U
Starfox Zero
Mario & Sonic: Olympic game
Pokken Tournament
Zelda: TP HD
SMT x FE

We know Pikmin 4 is being developed and was close to completion as of Q3/Q4 last year so thats a possibility. Can we really expect much else? Can we also expect Nintendo to not release versions of the above on the NX if that is indeed coming this xmas?

There is also what Retro is making too?

There were rumours of a sequel to Diddy Kong Racing a while back, I think (and hope) this will happen, it's either that or a new Metroid (how did they not develop a Metroid where you have to hold the Controller up to scan objects etc, the Wii U would have been a perfect fit for the franchise).

My reasons for thinking DKR Sequel: Retro made some Mario Kart 8 Tracks for the DLC (possibly to give them some experience?) and they have good links with the DK World having developed both the DKC Games recently.

If they are planning on launching the NX this year then I think the Wii U and the 3DS will have to go through 2016 with a weak release schedule. The NX needs to launch with a strong set of games for the first six months or so if they want to sell them to anyone bar the Nintendo hardcore fanbase. The Wii Us day one lineup was OK but they didn't follow it up with anything of note for months. That can't be allowed to happen again.

Mario Kart 64 is out on the Eshop this week. I'm hoping we'll see some sort of game sale as the US Eshop is starting a winter sale this week.

Unless I'm mistaken a great deal of Retro who were responsible for Metroid Prime series have left so there's a bit of a question mark over them.

"It should be common sense to just accept the message Nintendo are sending out through their actions."

There is no way a new Metroid or DKR is coming to the Wii-U.

They're coming but not to the Wii-U, what would be the point now?

Yeah, I doubt that we'll see any more "big" titles announced by Nintendo for the U. We'll get Zelda Twilight, Starfox Zero and Zelda U but that'll probably be it. Whatever Retro Studios has been developing will have moved over to the NX some time ago.

I hope that we don't see any more weaker titles like Mario Ultra Smash or amiibo Festival appearing. They look pretty decent but in terms of gameplay it's clear that development costs have been kept to a minimum.

I do wonder about the new Zelda... surely there has to be quite an upgraded version appearing for the NX? But that could make the U version appear as a somewhat "lite" version of the main game. It's a tricky balancing act.

Yeah. With Keiji Inafune consulting/being a psychic vampire.

I hope there is DKC game from them. Mostly because Tropical Freeze is one of the best platformers ever and my body is fuelled by the tears of whiny internet people.

Yeah i do think the nx version will be packed with more features and be the version to get.

I feel nintendo may get one more remake out before they end the console for good - possibly mario sunshine. It will be interesting to see how the remaster for twilight princess is. I had fond memories of it. Its a weird one - the most comprehensive zelda title since ocarina of time and had so much content, but lacked a bit of nintendo magic. Newcomers will enjoy it, certainly after skyward sword, which felt a little incomplete and rushed at times.

Simply can't wait for the nx to arrive and it will be a day one purchase for me as long as its got either a new zelda or 3d mario adventure.

As for wii u...i feel it has a bunch of great games, most of which should be remastered for the nx.

I am kinda harbouring a hope that the NX will offer U compatibility. I'd love it if the NX allowed a U Gamepad to be connected up to it... it'd be a way of getting current U owners on-board with the new machine and a means of keeping access to an array of unique titles.

I don't necessarily think it will happen, but I can still dream :-).

I agree - it would be such a waste if some of the Wii U games didn't get a bigger audience:

Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze
Mario 3D World
Lego City
Mario Kart 8
Splatoon
Pikmin 3
New Super Mario Bros U

These games must be re-mastered - as must Nintendo's entire back catalogue - they're sitting on a complete goldmine. They need to find a way of getting their games out there for everyone to play.

As for Twilight Princess, I loved it - my favourite 3D Zelda game after Ocarina...it was so damn epic and just kept going...I thought it would never end!!

So excited for TWilight Princess HD. First time I've ever been truly engrossed in a game.

Yeah I feel it was pretty underrated and was a brilliant game on the whole. I do believe the main criticisms are that it isn't that different from OOT and needed something new.

I would have got this if I still had my Wii U, however am confident that I will be able to play it on the new nintendo console.

Like the Gamecube version, which is how it should be. They flipped the Wii version for the Wiimote controls.

It will be nice to have a Zelda game with normal controls, and not stupid waggle!

Is TP actually underrated though? It's the second highest rated Zelda behind Ocarina and it was the best scoring game anywhere in 2006.

Amongst the fans i would say it wasn't much loved, maybe due to the motion controls, which were showhorned in for launch.

So many great moments in the game - i may just replay the wii version sometime.

I'm looking forward to playing this again and perhaps this time I will actually finish it!

In the Zelda timeline, TP is supposed to follow OoT and MM isn't it? Is it supposed to be the same link but grown up?
