Rumours abound that Starfox Zero has been delayed again until 15/7/16

Could this also possibly see a NX release? We'll know about NX before this arrives

The Wii-U is just the pits right now. The only big talking point at the moment is the release of one of the worst 3D Zeldas...

Its hard to believe that the only title Nintendo are bringing to Wii U in the first half of this is year is a HD remaster (if the SF0 rumours are true)

They can't let this happen on NX, they must have almost all there teams on NX titles now.

Every game that we expected had been bumped to NX s few years ago.

Metroid and a new proper 3d Mario will be at launch.

With nintendos history of dumping consoles in such a cold fashion (similar attitude shared by microsoft) this was always going to happen.

I just hope the nx allows you to play wii u games or gives some kind of discount to wii u owners.

The trick they pulled with the new 3ds is shocking - where the hell are these exclusive new 3ds titles?

I can honestly see Nintendo dropping any kind of BC support for NX especially if the system is using completely different components. They will then either add Wii U titles to the VC store eventually or release some Wii U as 'Remasters' for example I could see them doing a Super Smash Bros: Definitive Edition featuring all the DLC etc....

Yeah I can see that. I'd imagine the Wii U BC could be handled by including the streaming chipset in the NX and then supporting th pairing of a gamepad if you already have one like they did with the wiimotes on the U. Support for older systems is there, but they don't have to have the cost of including a second screen device in the box meaning the NX is cheaper. Win win. Or Wiin wiin.

It does feel like the Wii U was the test for the streaming tech and the NX will be the fruits of what they have learned.....thats if the rumour are true of course

To be fair the 3DS does offer other benefits. Better battery and faster processor?

What trick? It was no different really to the DSi.

And add to the list of benefits the super stable 3D, 2nd analogue stick and better overall design.

Anyone who thought there was going to be a whole bunch of new games for just the new 3DS is a bit deluded. Why would Nintendo want to sell to such a small userbase? Anything that needs the extra power of the new 3DS is also likely to be a relatively expensive game to produce.

How are people being deluded? I don't think it would be much to keep the userbase happy with a couple of old remakes or maybe a couple of new titles that would benefit from the jump to tide them over until the next console.

Isn't most of Nintendo's audience over the age of 25 now? I can't see them attracting many new customers with their very particular brand of games. And many of the older fans are moving on.

Nintendo need to reintroduce themselves to a new market, hence the mobile stuff. But I find it hard to believe most of their audience is over 25 though.

I wonder what the average age of the Amiibo buyer is? I know there'll be loads of older Amiibo buyers - everyone on this place, for example! - but they're selling too well for it just to be old fans, kids must be snapping them up. I read somewhere (no idea if true) that Nintendo have sold more Amiibos than Wii Us. Sounds crazy but considering the price difference it's not that bad (plus Nintendo have sold no Wii Us LOL)
