No Man's Sky - Switch release due on 7th October

Imagine a metroid game like this :datass:

A game made by 4 people is going to sell me a £350 console, that's some pretty incredible gooseberry fool they've managed with such a small team.

I wouldn't get too excited tbh. A lot of kickstarter type games sound amazing, but they rarely live up to the hype.

What makes me more confident is that Peter Molyneux's name is nowhere near it.

I hadn't seen any gameplay or heard anything of this, so I had no idea what to expect. Holy gooseberry fool that looks amazing :shock:

I should have said ambitious games. Hopefully we see some game play soon, I want to see what there actually is to do.

Sony really need to put their hands in their pocket and help fund this, I don't want to be waiting two years to play this.

They might have already done so, tbh. The guys lost their office to a flood, and now just a few months later they're back on their feet and as a timed exclusive for PS4.

Sean Murray looked so nervous out on stage, Sony giving him that time on stage was huge.

Unless Nintendo have something special planned this is game of the show. Managed to blow everyone away all over again

Game is the best thing I've seen in the show so far. I hope it lives up to the hype. This seems beyond anything Hello Games have ever done before. This sort of ambition, it's refreshing.

I hope they can pull this off (ooh matron). Looks like I could spen hours in it, Elite for a new generation and the art direction is amazing, like Ziggy Stardust meets Daft Punk.

I've wanted a game like this since I first played Freespace 10+ years ago. To see a planet off in the distance and actually visit it, rather than it being a static part of the background. :wub:
