I and three mates (L31, L30 and two L29s) want to do VOG at the weekend, though the day and time are still TBC.

Does anyone fancy helping to fill our roster? We would all be total noobs to it, so any experience would be appreciated.

Just putting the feelers out for now, I'll be back on when we know what we're doing (and when).

So that's me, Cooldawn, Ric, buff, patty and pete for VoG at 9:30? Or can anyone not make it from that?

You know what I think I'm going to level up my hunter just so I can do the weekly heroic and that's it.Compared to my Awesome powerhouse titan they are so weak .You take a couple of hits and have to hide all the time .They are fun but very wooly.

9.30 raid sounds fine. I'll be on before to do nightfalls and heroics.

Poser if it's Sunday I'll be about working 9-6 Saturday. If it's around that I'll come along.

If you were just farming marks you could be level 31 in like 2 weeks... Are you not farming marks?

Probably even quicker than that , I've levelled my second character up in no time at all and I had to earn the legs and chest and luckily got a legendary engram which was the helmet.This game is fun and actually easy to level ,I get confused how people get stuck .

Ok, so I've done quite a few bounties since hitting level 20, got all blue armour, except my cape which is legendary. Also done quite a lot of Strike missions on the playlist, even did half a raid even though only being level 25. All I got from this was Ascendency stuff, everyone else got new cool weapons.

I have been rewarded with two legendary items just through doing Strike missions, both of which were for Warlock class only.

Now what gets me is I haven't had one piece of armour up until this point that has been specifically for a certain class. Why now? That's just ridiculously stupid design IMO. I haven't got the time to go through and level up every class, plus I like the Hunter best. Can't even give these legendary items to my mate who is a Warlock.

Think I'm just incredibly unlucky. I probably don't spend anywhere near the amount of time on it as some folks in here but it's incredibly frustrating getting nowhere.

Why are you.not buying armour from the vendors instead of hoping for it to drop? You'll be there until Christmas.

Seriously, why do you keep talking about random drops when there is a garunteed way to level up?

My Vanguard rank isn't high enough apparently.

There are crucible vendors too.

You only need to get to level 2 to buy legs and gauntlets too.

Ranking up the vanguard will solve all your problems. Focus on this until you have got it ranked up to at least level 2. Doesn't take long, just always have bounties active, jump in the strike playlist, grad the daily public event reward and you'll be there in no time.

Then you can buy the specific armour you want/need from the vanguard vendor. Level up, job done.

Surprisingly I also got a hawkmoon from doing the nightfall today.
