Destiny (360, XB1, PS3, PS4) - GTags in OP

Well done on completing the raid guys. Hopefully I can join you all for a run through soon, I've only had the one attempt so far, which considering the amount of time I've put into the game and the fact it's clearly the best content is a bit ridiculous.

In other news, after completing the Urn of Sacrifice quest (sorry Buffalo you were on Far Cry 4 when I was completing it yesterday) and getting new gauntlets, I should reach level 30 soon, just need to complete a few bounties to level my armour. Still only halfway through the Thorn bounty as well, the 500 void points in the crucible is proving harder than I thought, currently just over 200 but it's slow going at the moment, really don't like using a fusion rifle in PvP.

No worries Sawyerpip, is the reward any good? Please tell me that killing that strawberry floating knight at the Skywatch is the last task. How did you do it?

You get a set of gauntlets that max at 33 light, good for me as they were the last piece of gear I needed to upgrade from my pre-DLC stuff. After the knight you have to do a new story mission, it's tough but doable solo. Then you need to speak to Xur so can only complete the quest on a weekend. I got lucky with the knight as when he appeared there were a couple of other guardians in the area helping to take him down. Feel free to invite me to your fireteam if you see me online and need a hand with him.

Thanks for the raid guys. That was just crazy, exilirating hard but was a lot of fun. Can't believe how long it took but am glad we did it in the end. I was in hyper mode after it. Lol. Was everybody able to hear me ok as I was using the mic that comes with the PS4 for the first time so have no idea how the quality of sound is with it.

Congrats on finishing the Raid, it's quite a feeling isn't it. Leema was my guide for the first time also, what a gent!

Buff, Atheons Epilogue is pretty good once fully upgraded and its a Void primary which can be helpful. It does lack impact, but has a crazy rate of fire and once you improve the stability of it, it's pretty decent. I keep it on me for sure, it's it certainly comes in handy.

Finally got my hunter to 20 and now the grind begins all over again. It's a pain swapping weapons between characters. Would have thought there'd be an easier way to do it.

You were the loudest voice last night Degoose but that was a good thing as I could clearly hear you. There were some voices that were quite faint making them hard to hear. By the way, what mic do you use?

Most raid weapons have perks useful for that particular raid. Atheon's Epilogue has the Oracle Disrupter perk (once you level it up). With that, you can destroy oracles much quicker, so it is pretty damn useful to have for VoG, even if you only equip it for oracles.

I'm happy to help out with any raids (lots of experience with both VoG raids and Crotas End). I'm on Xbone though.

After moaning about the Thorn bounty last night I managed to complete it today, only took 5 Rumbles. Something just clicked for me and I was achieving much better k/d ratios than I have been before. Xyor the Unwed next, I've heard that can be quite difficult.

After a bit of research and not wanting to spend stupid cash i picked up a headset called tritton kama. It has good sound and the mic is great plus it has a separate volume rather than turning it down in the ps4 options and also a mute switch. I picked mine up at GAME for £25 but you can also get it in Argos.
