How quick is it to rank up in Iron Banner? Those gauntlets appear to be better than the ones you get in the shops and I'm all about the Light, baby.

If you have loads of time you may be able to get enough rank to get the gloves if you use the buff he sells and wear the stuff but if you are starting from scratch then getting the gloves will be highly impressive from a single days work.

dammit i want the icebreaker but wanted to invest in the hunter helmet as well for my new hunter. I need another 7 coins which i doubt i'll have before he goes on sunday morning. Icebreaker it is.

Was very tempted to get The Glasshouse cuz it looks class, but decided to grab a few shards as well to finish of hawkmoon and stuff.

slowly sorting out a second character, a Titan, far more fun than the warlock imo. Still no hunter though.

Glass house has a pretty bad bonus on it really. Not worth the coins.

I'm surprised at how cheap these are, no wonder people have crazy amounts of gear.

Gonna buy two Icebreakers so I don't have to swap gear... Just need one more gjallarhorn.

The Titan is pretty awesome if you like having more armour and helping out with the bubble. I have a level 11 Hunter now and between the hunter and warlock of course early level i am enjoying the hunter more but i am having to getting use to using the extra agility and movement to get out of tricky situations rather than punch a bad guy get extra barrier or putting up a bubble. I get so use to the extra protection on a titan it is weird not having it.

And buff, yeah it's easy to get strange coins if you have multiple characters, but people with only one character will have trouble being able to buy more than one item a week,if that

I think I have enough strange coins for Icebreaker, but for some reason I can no longer check my inventory from the app so will need to wait until I get home to find out.

I'm considering starting new characters to help with the collection of coins etc. Not only that but I'm actually interested to see how the Warlock and Hunter actually play compared to the Titan, I imagine like Degoose I'll have to get used to not having as much armour for protection.

It really is amazing just how often I get put on teams where I have no hope of winning no matter how well I play.
Being hammered by just 5,000 points is a good game at the moment and I've had 8 gooseberry fool teams in the last 10 games who have been completely dominated.

I've upgraded my exotic weapon using a shard at Xur's, but I don't seem to see any difference in terms of damage dealt, it's max is still 331. Am I missing something, what's actually been upgraded?
