Destiny (360, XB1, PS3, PS4) - GTags in OP

It that case we kind of need some people who have or it's going to be really frustrating.

I might be up for that, depending on what day you want to do it.

I'd like to try a normal CE raid as well. It will also be my first proper time trying it.

I'm pretty confident with every section but the ir yut section.

So if anybody else is confident with that then we'd probably be okay.

make sure whatever weapons you have are fully leveled up as well.

If it's on par with hard vog, so level 30, probably. it was a ball ache for me. Grafted like hell to get weapons up to max just need some shards off Xur this week and I'll be golden.

Of course. But it'll just make it frustrating for everybody and make it take a lot lot longer.

I think that's why we were having problems in hard mode VOG the other day. I'm guessing one or two people didn't have fully upgraded weapons.

Would just having your main weapon fully leveled up like the Suros be fine?

Are you not level 31 yet?

Level 30 and un-levelled weapons will just make you a burden in all honestly. You'll be doing 30% less damage and even less if they're not fully leveled.

If you're level 31 you'd probably be okay with suros.

I've had this conversation with LeeMa before but I don't see any evidence of buff's from one level to another. Has Bungie said that's what happens?

If so there's absolutely no point in the stats. None. To me a 331 Hand Cannon does the same damage at level 30 or level 31. I certainly didn't feel the difference in Iron Banner.

If you're doing HM anything your weapons should be maxed. HM VoG is doable at 29... With maxed weapons. But a 30 with a weapon that hasn't been upgraded at all will still do more damage. A 31 will do exactly the same amount of damage as the 30.

Got to Crota within 30 mins of starting HM... Stuck there for 3 hours

Sorry I couldn't get on last night to finish off the big lad in the vault of glass.

I'm not really free again until next monday or tuesday, but I've done it a fair few times now so if I'm not there blast on through it.

I'd like to hit up Crota again, only done it twice and both times were bascially exploit as much as possible throughout, even crota at the end.

Yup we blates didn't progress on vog hard because I couldn't kill stuff fast enough. It was you that covered my ass so many times on the oracles which meant you weren't fully focused on your side.

Really can't apologise enough for that night. I come from wow so I know the pain of wiping constantly due to someone been under prepared and as a raid lead I would've just replaced the person with no hesitation no reason others should be held back.

Hopefully I haven't excluded myself from future invites when I'm ready. I've leveled Atheon to max and ice breaker and Hawkmoon will be done by the weekend. Further more defended now fully leveled and I prefer that to striker which I never felt I fully utilised enough anyway.

That's more levelled up stuff than i have so that's good going. I have a fully maxed thorn for my main weapons and that's it. I have done CE pretty much to the end we just ran out of time and i was surviving and doing a better job than the higher level more experienced players at points.I think i was 30 at the time, the thing is we all need practice for each raid. I'm more than willing to take a ton of wipes if needed though so next monday i'm up for normal CE.

Your guns get stronger when your character levels up? I didn't know that!
