Xur does still sell exotic engrams. Just not every week.
Might get those Dance machine legs, but hunter helmets seem to reign supreme for hunter gear.

yeah that's about right, i got a nice cloak for my hunter from the speaker . It does suck though that there are no more random engrams.

Can't you use motes of light to re-roll your gun specs in the Iron Banner?

You can buy buffs with them for Iron Banner, not sure about re-speccing equipment, not seen that option before.
I just seem to get an awful lot of them and I'm like 'right, now what?'.

Wasted quite a few trying to get the perfect Timurs lash. Just a shame you can't reroll the armour, would have preferred hand cannon reload speed.

Yea, once you get to a certain rank in Iron Banner, you gain the option of 're-rolling' guns which changes the perks it has. You could get better, you could get worse. Or that's what I understand you can do. Not done it myself as I don't touch the Iron Banner much at all.

I did hear about this but thought it was only for iorn banner weapons but i was never quite sure.

Yea, think it only applies to the Iron Banner guns. 2 motes a roll apparently.

Ok, I need a helmet still - if I get an engram from Xur, will it only be exotic, or might it be legendary?

I love my exotic chest armour so don't want another exotic piece.

I didn't say any part of it is incorrect. I agree weapon damage does't buff each time you level up. I just came at it from a different angle.
